Deep bowl with wide mouth raised on a tall stem supported on a broad circular concave foot with neatly molded upturned edge, the lower sides of the bowl with concave grooves and the well-fitted domed cover similarly grooved, the large circular platform finial also grooved and raised on a reel-shaped stem, the dark gray pottery burnished to a smooth black surface and showing scattered remains of earth encrustation and staining from burial.
