The recto side of this folio features Krishna, the eighth avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu who is worshipped as a deity in his own right, conversing with Radha, his consort. They stand at the bank of a river while four gopis (milkmaids) swim. Piles of clothes flank a tree with large fronds. Rajput Style, Mewar School.
