Don't Blow the Inheritance was a 5:00pm daytime quiz show that aired on ITV from 20 to 31 August 2012 for a 10 episode run as a summer replacement for The Chase. It was hosted by stand-up comedian Tim Vine.

Bill Bryson Notes from a Small Island

Following his enormously successful book "Notes From a Small Island", American travel writer Bill Bryson sets off on a new tour of Britain. Starting at Dover, where he recalls his first disembarkation in 1973 to a land of rain, sweet tea and disagreeable land-ladies, his travels take him from Poole in the South to the Western Isles of Scotland. Along the way he encounters such colourful characters as the pipe smokers of Solihull, ballroom dancers in Blackpool and the caber tossers of Glenfinnan. Bryson brings all his perspective eye, dry wit and outbursts of comic exasperation to this affectionate survey of the British way of life.

A Night with...

A Night with is a British entertainment show on ITV featuring well-known musicians. The fist episode featured Will Young and was presented by Kate Thornton, the show aired on Saturday 27 August at 9.00pm. The second episode starred Beyoncé Knowles and was presented by Steve Jones on Sunday 4 December at 9.00pm. The show was originally broadcast from The London Studios but is currently recorded in Fountain Studios in Wembley.

One Night Only

One Night Only is a British entertainment show, celebrating the best of British Music. Ben Shephard hosted in 2009 and 2010, which saw Rod Stewart and Phil Collins take to the stage. In November 2010, Fearne Cotton hosted a one-off special with Bon Jovi and the most recent in 2011 presented by Christine Bleakley featuring music from Duran Duran.

Text Santa

Text Santa is a charity initiative set up in 2011 by ITV to support UK charities during the Christmas period. The appeal to the public is to donate money mainly via text donation and profits from merchandise.The telethon is currently hosted by Phillip Schofield, Christine Bleakley, Holly Willoughby, Ant & Dec and Paddy McGuinness.

The Last of the Baskets

The Last of the Baskets was a British television situation comedy produced by Granada and starring Arthur Lowe that ran for two series in the early 1970s. Created by John Stevenson the programme was about a factory worker Clifford Basket who inherited a title of the Earl of Clogborough, a rundown mansion at Little Clogborough-in-the-Marsh and a faithful servant Bodkin played by Arthur Lowe.

Pride of Britain Awards

The Pride of Britain Awards is an annual event in the United Kingdom, honouring British people who have acted bravely or extraordinarily in challenging situations. The awards were founded by Peter Willis, an associate editor of the Daily Mirror, under the editorship of Piers Morgan. The first Pride of Britain Awards were held at the Dorchester Hotel, Mayfair, London in May 1999. The awards are televised on ITV and hosted by Carol Vorderman. The judging panel is made up of celebrities and well-known figures from a range of backgrounds, and has included multiple appearances by Simon Cowell, Richard Branson, Fiona Phillips, Miriam Stoppard, Sir John Stevens, Sir Magdi Yacoub, Richard Wallace, Eamonn Holmes and Ms. Dynamite, chaired from 1999 to 2004 by Piers Morgan and from 2005 to 2006 by Peter Willis. The awards are organised in association with the Daily Mirror, Lidl, ITV, Daybreak and The Prince's Trust. Winners of the Pride of Britain Lifetime Achievement Award have included; Peter Benenson, founder of the human rights organisation Amnesty International, Chad Varah, founder of the charity group the Samaritans, Alec Jeffreys, who pioneered DNA fingerprinting, and Nicholas Winton, who saved many Jewish children from the Holocaust.

Holding out for a Hero

Holding Out for a Hero is an ITV entertainment programme in which contestants don't win money for themselves, but for somebody else, who they considered to be their hero. The show is presented by Gethin Jones. Every week three contestants compete to win a huge sum of money for a charity close to their heart.

The Nation's Favourite

The Nation's Favourite... is a British documentary series, celebrating music by a particular artist. Since the show began in 2010 it has been narrated by various TV stars including Liza Tarbuck, Fearne Cotton, Amanda Holden and Kate Thornton Then in July 2012, three episodes counting down the Nation's favourite number one single aired on ITV hosted by Fearne Cotton. The programme has celebrated bands and singers including ABBA, the Bee Gees and Elvis Presley.
