Britain's Secret Treasures
Britain's Secret Treasures is a British documentary shown on ITV hosted by Michael Buerk and Bettany Hughes. The programme features fifty archaeological discoveries that have been made in England, Wales and Scotland by members of the public. With the exception of a single find made in Scotland, all the objects featured were recorded by the Portable Antiquities Scheme. Since the PAS was set up in 1997, some 800,000 objects have been registered with the scheme, many of them discovered by amateur metal detectorists. The fifty finds have been selected by Hughes and a panel of experts from the British Museum and the Council for British Archaeology from among the nearly one million finds reported to the PAS on the basis of their historical and cultural significance, as well as on their aesthetic merit. The six episodes of Britain's Secret Treasures present the fifty objects in reverse order according to their importance as judged by the panel, in a countdown format, with the ten most important objects revealed during the sixth and final episode. Taking the top slot in the countdown, as the most important object according to the panel, is a Lower Paleolithic flint handaxe made more than half a million years ago that was found on a beach in Happisburgh, Norfolk in 2000 by a man taking his dog for a walk.

Mad Mad World is an entertainment-comedy panel show broadcast on ITV, presented by comedian Paddy McGuinness, featuring team captains Rufus Hound and Rhys Darby, and regular panellist Rob Rouse. The show began airing on 30 June 2012 with a regular slot on Saturday late nights. Each episode features three celebrity guests from the world of television, news and comedy, who attempt to answer questions on topics from all around the world. The series was originally due to be shown on 14 April 2012, but was postponed as a consequence of 2012's scheduling shenanigans between Britain's Got Talent and The Voice UK. It eventually emerged after Euro 2012, still in a late-evening slot.

0The Dance Years
The Dance Years was a British documentary series created by Glenn Sims and written and presented by radio DJ Dave Pearce. It premiered on 21 July 2001 on the British channel ITV. The 14-episode series focused on dance music in the UK between 1988 and 2001, with each episode charting Pearce's personal top 10 dance tracks for a particular year. The programme also explored the year's most influential people, songs and nightclubs. Each episode was broadcast on ITV on Saturday mornings at approximately 1 a.m. Dorian Lynskey of The Guardian described The Dance Years as being part of a "bumper year" for retrospectives of dance music. The show featured talking head interviews with artists and experts such as Double 99, Artful Dodger, Faithless, Slipmatt, Fabio, Judge Jules, Joey Negro, The Sneaker Pimps, Boy George, Tony Wilson, Graeme Park, Roger Sanchez, Phats and Small and M&S. Following the TV series of The Dance Years, Pearce went on to release a set of compilation albums under the same name in 2009, and hosted a similarly titled radio series in 2012.

Your Face Sounds Familiar is a British talent show developed by Endemol UK and based on the Spanish series. The show began its six-week run on 29 June 2013 on ITV. The judging panel consists of Emma Bunton, Julian Clary and a different guest judge in each episode. Guest judges have included Cilla Black, Donny Osmond, Denise van Outen, Kian Egan and Peter Andre, whilst Alesha Dixon and Paddy McGuinness host. The show involves six celebrities portraying various iconic singers each week to win £10,000 for their chosen charity. The winner of the first series was actress Natalie Anderson who received the £50,000 grand prize for her charity, she was revealed as the winner on 3 August 2013. A second series of the show is set to be produced and broadcast in 2014.

The Blunders is an animated children's television series co-produced by FilmFair and Central Independent Television, and broadcast on ITV in 1986. Colin Voisey and Haydn Morgan created the show's characters: Ma Blunder, Pa Blunder, Bobby Blunder, Baby Blunder, a cat named Zebra, a dog named Trouble, and an eye-patched bird named Patch. They all live together in the town of Villa Shambles, where they keep finding trouble because of their clumsiness. In the episode "The Blunder Family Tree", the Blunders find that their ancestors lived in the Roman Empire.

Macbeth
Macbeth is a 1978 videotaped version of Trevor Nunn's Royal Shakespeare Company production of the play by William Shakespeare. Produced by Thames Television, it features Ian McKellen as Macbeth, and Judi Dench as Lady Macbeth. The TV version was directed by Philip Casson. The original stage production was performed at The Other Place, the RSC's small studio theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon. It had been performed in the round before small audiences, with a bare stage and simple costuming. The recording preserves this style: the actors perform on a circular set, and with a mostly black background; changes of setting are indicated only by lighting changes.

The programme features a cast of 21 supporting characters, each designed from a different plant: Daisy, Evening Primrose, Pampas, Fern Polypody, Thistle, Cowslip, Delphinium, Uncle Onion, Cornflower, Lucky Four Leaf Clover, Vi, Ola, Pansy, Bella Donna, Twitch Grass, Couch Grass, Holly, Ivy, Nettle, Dock, and Daffodil.

The Ferret is a long-running consumer affairs television programme that is broadcast on ITV Cymru Wales. The programme was first broadcast in 1996 on HTV Wales. It is currently presented by Chris Segar and Hannah Thomas. Previous presenters include Ruth Wignall. The first series consisted of 21 episodes. The first series is currently being repeated on Saturdays at 9:25am on ITV. A second series has not yet been announced.
