Evening at Pops was an American concert television series produced by WGBH-TV. It was one of the longest-running programs on PBS. The program was a public television version of a variety show, performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra. It was taped at Symphony Hall in Boston, Massachusetts.

The Living Century

The Living Century is an American biography television series that premiered on PBS on December 3, 2000. Each episode of the half-hour series documents the life of someone who is over 100 years old. The Living Century was produced and distributed by Reverie Productions.

Mythos

Mythos is a three-part documentary that consists of a series of lectures given by Joseph Campbell. Campbell conceived of the original lectures, filmed over the last six years of his life, as a summation of what he had learned about the human mythic impulse, in terms of psychology, ethnology and comparative mythology—what he called "the one great story of mankind."

Off the Record

Off the Record is a weekly, political talk program produced by Michigan public television station WKAR-TV in East Lansing, Michigan, and broadcast statewide on PBS member stations throughout Michigan. Off The Record is hosted by Michigan's senior capitol correspondent, Tim Skubick. The program covers the governor, legislature, political campaigns and state government. Off the Record has two segments, opening with a panel of reporters discussing recent news for 15 minutes followed by a roundtable interview with a politician or newsmaker.

Joanne Weir's Cooking Class

Joanne Weir’s Cooking Class is a cooking show airing on PBS. Each episode features a novice student who is shown how to prepare several related dishes. The program is presented by KQED, distributed by American Public Television and produced by A La Carte Communications.

ITN World News

ITN World News was a newscast shown during the late 1980s and most of the 1990s. It was either shown on cable or satellite television, or shown internationally. The newscast was broadcast from London, England, and was produced by Independent Television News. A domestic version was also shown in the United Kingdom on terrestrial television. ITN World News began broadcasting on Super Channel, and aired on NBC Europe, Nine Network Australia, Public Broadcasting Service Public television stations and most of the ITV Network Regions. The broadcast began in 1987, and has not been seen on screens since 1999. The newscast was produced by ITN and broadcast from its London Bureau.

Chefs A’ Field is an American documentary cooking series broadcast on PBS that focuses on the personal stories of farmers, fishermen, foragers and chefs, offering viewers a new way of looking at their food, environment, and community. Each episode of Chefs A’ Field starts with a well-known restaurant, travels to the field and returns to the kitchen, where the ingredients are transformed into dishes on the menus of America’s finest restaurants. The audience views the chefs' interactions with farmers and fishermen.

Storylords is a 1984 low-budget live-action instructional television series shown on educational and PBS member stations in the United States, often during instructional television blocks. It was produced at the University of Wisconsin–Stout for the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board.

Betsy's Kindergarten Adventures

Betsy's Kindergarten Adventures is a slice of life cartoon intended for young children. The show premiered on January 19, 2008 on PBS Kids. The show follows a girl named Betsy as she starts out her school years. The series premiere shows Betsy facing the uncertainty of her first day of school and the adjustments she must make as she meets her new teacher and classmates, encounters unfamiliar rules and routines, and finds herself in an entirely new environment. Subsequent episodes show Betsy's excitement and sense of adventure as she adapts to the new experiences of kindergarten. This show is similar to other PBS Kids shows like Caillou and Clifford the Big Red Dog that cater to an audience of children between the ages of 2-6.

Gather 'Round

Gather 'Round was an educational series syndicated on numerous PBS stations from September 1, 1978 until January 1, 1979. The series was a production of CTI/Glad and was shown mainly during weekday in-school telecasts. The programs generally ran for 15 minutes or less. They were hosted/narrated by Paul M Lally and featured the charcoal drawings of Rae Owings. As Lally told stories, Owings would draw pictures with a charcoal pencil, illustrating the story as it was being told. Lally and Owings were also responsible for behind the scenes production work on other shows such as Cover to Cover, and The Word Shop.

Tomes & Talismans

Tomes & Talismans is a 1986 educational television series produced by Mississippi Public Broadcasting, consisting of thirteen 20-minute episodes presented as a dramatic serial story. Each episode defines, illustrates, and reviews specific library research concepts.
