c. 1825-1850
The recto side of this folio features a study of seven male heads. All of them are in profile, have their hair tied in a bun, and wear a large earring. All but one has facial hair. There is an eighth head, but its lower half is missing due to loss of the paper. The verso side features a large portrait of a man in profile. He has heavy-lidded eyes, a prominent nose, a large ear, and facial hair. Below him are small sketches of men’s heads in profile. Rajput Style, Kota School.
