Jar with flared mouth, cylindrical neck, ovoid body flattened on one side, two small loop handles on the shoulders, bordering the flattened back, pointed tab on the front, and flat base; lightly burnished, blackened earthenware with applique elements. Dawenkou culture. From the middle and lower Yellow River valley regions; Shandong, northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui, and eastern Henan provinces.
