Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective

This work is a medical mystery where physicians use their knowledge and diagnostic abilities as weapons to brilliantly solve enigmatic cases and phenomena. The story unfolds when Takanashi Yu, a former surgeon now working in internal medicine, is assigned to the Comprehensive Diagnosis Department at Tenikai General Hospital, where patients deemed “difficult to diagnose” are gathered. Ameku Takao who serves as the department head and is also the niece of the hospital director, possesses a unique personality that no one except her sister Ameku Mazuru, the administrative director, can control. Though she casually refers to Takanashi as “Kotori” (little bird), she is revealed to be a genius doctor with extraordinary diagnostic abilities. Based on a novel series by Chinen Mikito.
