The 10 Percenters

The Ten Percenters was a British television comedy series, broadcast on ITV, which began as a pilot in 1993, and was followed by two series which were shown in 1994 and 1996. Clive Francis played the main character, and the producer was Ed Bye. The writers for the pilot were Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, while the first and second series were written by Naylor and various co-writers, including Steve Punt and Paul Alexander.

The Good Sex Guide

Margi Clarke presented the show which was broadcast on late nights on ITV. The show ran for three series. The Good Sex Guide which gained unheard-of audience figures of 13 million for a show that aired at 10.35pm. She was rewarded with a win at the RTS Awards for "Best Female Presenter" in 1994. A second series was equally successful, and a third, The Good Sex Guide Abroad, soon followed. Clarke turned down an offer to take the series into a late night chat show format, the host eventually being Toyah Wilcox.

Wizadora

Wizadora is a children's television programme broadcast on ITV in the United Kingdom from 1993 to 1998. However, it was first used as a language teaching tool for children to learn the English language, by Oxford University Press in 1991. The series was created by Don Arioli and Carolyne Cullum. It starred Wendy van der Plank as 'Wizadora' between 1993 and 1996. From 1997, Lizzie McPhee took over the role, as Wendy was away. Wendy came back for the last set of episodes from 1998 up to the end of the show's run. The show was filmed by Meridian Broadcasting. The episodes all took place in or around Wizadora's cottage. Wizadora, a trainee wizard, is always trying to solve problems using magic. One episode of Wizadora was broadcast on CITV on Saturday, 5th January 2013 as part of a CITV anniversary special. This was the first time the show has been broadcast in the UK since it was shown on Living TV in the early 2000s.

Westcountry Live was the flagship regional news programme of ITV Westcountry, serving South West England.

Harry's Mad

Harry's Mad was a children's television programme that was shown in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on CITV from 4 January 1993 to 11 March 1996. It is based upon a book written by Dick King-Smith.

Sunday Best

Sunday Best was GMTV's original Sunday magazine programme, launched in January 1993. It was originally intended to be a Sunday edition of the regular weekday programme, featuring the regular lifestyle and human interest stories, interviews, and news bulletins.

Top of the Morning

Lorraine Kelly first began presenting Top of the Morning in January 1993. In March when Fiona Armstrong walked out of the main GMTV show, Lorraine moved to the GMTV slot and Fern Britton and Amanda Redington took over hosting Top of the Morning. Top of the Morning was produced by an independent production company.

GMTV

GMTV is the name of the national Channel 3 breakfast television contractor/licensee, broadcasting in the United Kingdom from 1 January 1993 to 3 September 2010. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of ITV plc in November 2009. Shortly after, ITV plc announced the programme would end. The final edition of GMTV was broadcast on 3 September 2010.

ITV News Meridian

ITV News Meridian is the regional news programme for the ITV Meridian region and part of the ITV Central region, serving South East England. The news service is produced and broadcast from ITV Meridian's studios in Whiteley, near Fareham with reporters also based at bureaus in Abingdon, Brighton, Maidstone, Poole and Reading. The Head of News is Robin Britton who previously launched Thames Valley Tonight and the West edition of Meridian Tonight.

A Touch of Frost

Jack Frost is a gritty, dogged and unconventional detective with sympathy for the underdog and an instinct for moral justice who attracts trouble like a magnet. Despite some animosity with his superintendent, Norman “Horn-rimmed Harry” Mullett, Frost and his ever-changing roster of assistants manage to solve cases via his clever mind, good heart, and cool touch.

Framed

Lawrence Jackson and Eddie Myers could not be more different. Jackson is an ambitious young police officer saddled with the responsibilities of a wife and children. Extradited back to England after a nerve-wracking Scotland Yard Operation, von Joel agrees to a deal with the Police, He'll tell what he knows - but only if Jackson is his interrogator. So begins a deadly game of cat and mouse between the master criminal and his determined minder. Which comes first - duty or temptation?

In Bed with Medinner

Mills wanders around his flat, telling ludicrous fictional anecdotes about his showbusiness friends and reminiscing about his time as a television producer. These stories are illustrated by genuine clips from the ITV archives, which, interspersed with Mills' own heavily-contrived commentaries and bizarre non-sequiturs, come together to reveal surreal fictional backstories.

Gone to Seed

Gone to Seed is a British comedy-drama series created by Tony Grounds, a standalone spin-off to his earlier Gone to the Dogs. With much of the cast returning—albeit in new roles—the six-episode series follows the Plant family, who have run a garden centre in Rotherhithe since Dickens’ time, surviving both war and redevelopment. But now, family rivalry threatens to poison their unlikely paradise when matriarch Mag refuses to hand over control to her triplet children. Frumpy Hilda has only one passion in life: Milwall FC. Country/western singer Monty dreams of turning the run-down nursery into a floral oasis in the heart of Docklands, whilst his one-eyed jobless builder and part-time wrestler Winston doesn’t know a begonia from a buttercup! Meanwhile, local conman Wesley Willis lurks in the shadows and knows the true-worth of prime-location London real-estate.

Bad Influence!

Bad Influence! is an early to mid-1990s British factual television programme broadcast on CITV between 1992 and 1996, and was produced in Leeds by Yorkshire Television. It looked at video games and computer technology, and was described as a "kid’s Tomorrow's World". It was shown on Thursday afternoons and had a run of four series of between 13 and 15 shows, each of 20 minutes duration. For three of the four series, it had the highest ratings of any CITV programme at the time. Its working title was Deep Techies, a colloquial term derived from 'techies' basically meaning technology-obsessed individuals.

Gladiators

Gladiators is a British television entertainment series, produced by LWT for ITV, and broadcast between 10 October 1992 and 1 January 2000. It is an adaptation of the American format American Gladiators. The success of the British series spawned further adaptations in Australia and Sweden. The series was revived in 2008, before again being cancelled in 2009. The series was originally presented by John Fashanu and Ulrika Jonsson, however, Fashanu was replaced by Jeremy Guscott in 1997. Guscott left the series in 1998, and subsequently, Fashanu returned for the final series in 1999. The series was refereed by John Anderson and the timekeepers over the show's run were Andrew Norgate, Derek Redmond and Eugene Gilkes. John Sachs was the show's commentator, and the series was accompanied by its own group of cheerleaders, known as G-Force. Despite being made by London Weekend Television, all episodes of Gladiators, International Gladiators, the second series of The Ashes and the first series of The Springbok Challenge were recorded at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. The first series of The Ashes and the second series of the The Springbok Challenge, however, were filmed on the sets of the Australian and South African versions of the shows respectively. The series also spawned a version for children, entitled Gladiators: Train 2 Win, which was broadcast on CITV between 1995 and 1998.
