OFI Sunday

OFI Sunday was a British entertainment show hosted by Chris Evans. It aired Sunday's on ITV at 10:30 pm. The title stood for "Oh Flip It's Sunday", similar to the previous show TFI Friday, whose title stood for "Thank Four It's Friday".

Harry Hill's Shark Infested Custard

A children's television series that was broadcast in the United Kingdom between October 21, 2005, and January 13, 2006. The show marked stand-up comedian Harry Hill's first move into children's television. As of 2012, the show is still regularly being repeated on Cartoon Network, with up to three broadcasts a day, despite only thirteen episodes ever being made. The show was not only the starting point for Harry Hill's children television career but also the start of Actor Lewis Bittle's entire career. After his small part on the opening titles for the show's weekly punchline title sequence, his acting name shot up faster than a NASA rocket.

Cold Blood

Jericho

Jericho is an ITV British crime drama series which was transmitted in 2005. It was created and written by Stewart Harcourt and starred Robert Lindsay as Detective Inspector Michael Jericho, who is loved by the public but who is embarrassed by his status as a hero. The series was set in London in 1958.

Vincent

Vincent is an ITV drama series. An initial series was made and aired in 2005 and starred Ray Winstone, in the title role, and Suranne Jones as two members of a team of private eyes hired by people to spy on their partners or indeed anyone else they need to keep tabs on. The four part series also starred Angel Coulby, Ian Puleston-Davies, Joe Absolom, Eva Pope and Philip Glenister. A second series was broadcast in the autumn of 2006.

The Biggest Loser

The Biggest Loser was a British reality television show that began airing on Living TV from 2005 to 2006, before moving to ITV in 2009 and finished in 2012. Most recently hosted by Davina McCall, the show is a spin-off of the American reality television show of the same name. The show originally featured Angie Dowds and Mark Bailey as the personal trainers, with Richard Callender replacing Bailey from series 3. After Dowds' death, she was replaced by Charlotte Ord and Rob "The Killer" Edmond for the fifth series. at Beachy Head. The first two series of the show were hosted by Vicki Butler-Henderson on Living TV, the third series was hosted by Kate Garraway and Davina McCall began presenting the show in its fourth series on ITV. In September 2012, it was announced that the show would be cancelled, with no further series planned.

Mike Bassett: Manager

The series picks up some time after Mike took England to the semi-finals of the 2002 World Cup. The side's attempt at qualifying for the 2004 European Championships ended in disaster, resulting in Mike being sacked. Since then, a spell at Newcastle ended in similar fashion after getting them relegated two seasons in a row, while his returns to former clubs Norwich and then Colchester fared little better. Mike decides to retire, but at the last minute is offered the manager's job at Wirral County F.C., for whom his father was a player. They seem doomed to be relegated to the Football Conference. Not helping his job is the fact that the chairman is senile, the chief executive is eagerly awaiting relegation so that he can sell their ground and Karine isn't pleased with the idea of retiring in Ellesmere Port rather than Spain.

The Golden Hour

The Golden Hour was an ITV drama series, first shown in 2005. The series centred on the activities of a specialist medical unit, HEMS which is based in London, operated by the London Ambulance Service, in dealing with emergency cases. The title refers to the hour which is their critical time for handling emergencies. The series starred Richard Armitage and Lorna Fitzgerald.

Tricky TV

Tricky TV is a fast paced modern magic show for CITV. Presented by children's presenter and magician Stephen Mulhern, the show features magic on the street, "wicked wind-ups", illusions, and teaches a number of tricks step-by-step.

Quizmania

Quizmania was a popular British interactive gameshow. The show was devised by Chuck Thomas, Debbie King, and Simone Thorogood and produced by Fremantle Media for Information TV and ITV. Currently, the online revival is produced by Screen Pop Ltd. in association with Illumina Digital. In a similar vein to other premium-line call-in shows, viewers on the TV version of Quizmania were encouraged to phone a premium-rate number in order to provide an answer to a quiz question.

Gameshow Marathon

Gameshow Marathon was a British game show, broadcast on ITV from 17 September 2005 to 26 May 2007. After a quick retrospective look at the history of the particular show, the show itself is recreated. This involved recreating the original set and using original opening programme titles, including the appropriate producer ident. All participants are celebrities, and any prizes won go into a "Viewer Prize Mountain" which is awarded to a viewer via a phone-in competition.

The Jeremy Kyle Show

The Jeremy Kyle Show is a British daytime television tabloid talk show presented by Jeremy Kyle. It has been broadcast on ITV since 4 July 2005. The show is produced by ITV Studios and is broadcast each weekday. The show first appeared as a replacement for Trisha Goddard's chat show, which was moved to Five. The show is based on confrontations in which guests attempt to resolve issues with others that are significant in their lives, these issues include: family, relationship, sex, drug, alcohol and other issues. Frequently, guests display strong emotions such as anger and distress on the show, and Kyle is often harsh towards those that he feels have acted in morally dubious or irresponsible ways, whilst strongly emphasising the importance of traditional family values. This has led to both criticism and parody of the show in newspapers and on television, and even led to the show being described as "human bear-baiting" by a Manchester District Judge, during a prosecution after guests had been involved in a violent incident on the show. The show's 1,000th episode was aired on Thursday 18 March 2010. In 2012, the show returned from their Christmas break with a new set.

Cash Cab

British version of the game show where unsuspecting members of the public hail a cab and find they're playing for thousands of pounds - if they can keep answering questions correctly before they reach their destination. If they don't, they may just be walking the rest of the way.

Ladette to Lady

A group of loud, foul-mouthed, uncultured & unpleasant Ladettes, who like to drink & smoke & who are often sexually promiscuous, are given a five-week course in learning how to behave like a real lady. They are sent to Eggleston Hall, a finishing school for women. It was specially re-opened in order to try and change the ladettes' habits.

Monkey Trousers

Monkey Trousers was a short-lived comedy series on ITV in 2005, featuring Alistair McGowan, John Thomson, Ronni Ancona, Mackenzie Crook, Griff Rhys Jones, Neil Morrissey, Vic Reeves, Bob Mortimer, Marc Wootton and Steve Coogan. It was directed by David Kerr and produced by Bob Mortimer and Vic Reeves' production company, Pett Productions. It succeeded The All Star Comedy Show, which was written by Reeves and Mortimer, and produced by Coogan. Sketches of the show included the moronic, yet fearless 'Croc Botherer', Roy the eerie, lonely toy-shopkeeper, Alistair the hopeless estate agent, who replies to every question with "I don't know", the swearing chef, and the 'Geordie Astronauts'. A DVD of the series was released on 4 July 2005.
