Al Murray's Happy Hour

Al Murray's Happy Hour was a chat show presented by comedian Al Murray and produced by Avalon TV. The first series aired in early 2007. It is broadcast on the British terrestrial TV network, ITV, and the first series was broadcast on Saturday nights at 10pm. The second series aired on Fridays at 10pm. A third series returned to ITV on 12 September 2008, in the same 10pm Friday night slot. However, UTV in Northern Ireland did not show the third series in the 10pm Friday night slot with the other ITV regions. They now show it the following Thursday at around 11.40pm, due to UTV regional programming on Friday nights. Murray presents the programme in his Pub Landlord persona: a stereotypically nationalistic, chauvinistic character. The show contains stand-up, guest interviews and live music. The show ends with Murray performing a Queen song with the musical guest.

Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway

Fortune: Million Pound Giveaway was a British television show hosted by Richard Madeley which first aired on ITV on Tuesday 2 January 2007. Over seven weeks, various members of the public appeared, several per show, and appealed before a panel of judges for money to fulfil ambitions or dreams. The show was made by Fever Media for ITV. The panel consisted of five high-profile members, four of whom are multi-millionaires: ⁕Jeffrey Archer - best selling author, convicted criminal, former Member of Parliament and former Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party. ⁕Duncan Bannatyne - entrepreneur, panel member of BBC Two's Dragons' Den and owner of Bannatyne's Health and Fitness clubs ⁕Jacqueline Gold - Managing Director of Ann Summers and daughter of David Gold, the co-chairman of West Ham United F.C. ⁕Simon Jordan - mobile phone entrepreneur and the then owner of Crystal Palace F.C. ⁕Kanya King - founder of the MOBO awards. The concept is similar to that of BBC Two's Dragons' Den, also featuring Duncan Bannatyne. The programme was recorded between 10 December and 15 December 2006 at Three Mills Studios in Bow, London. Each day of this week several requests were filmed, and after recording was complete edited together to give a balanced series of seven programmes.

GMTV News

GMTV News was the brand name for the regional news service in the south coast of England and the Thames Valley, from 5 December 2006 until 6 February 2009. The change in branding was brought about due to the launch of ITV's Thames Valley news region on 4 December 2006, which, although based at Meridian's studios, consisted of the south-east of the Central franchise area as well as the north of the Meridian area. For this reason it was unlike the GMTV Northern Ireland and GMTV Scotland services, as it was produced by an ITV regional franchise-holder, rather than an independent company. As GMTV at the time only paid for one regional news service per official franchisee, the regional GMTV News-branded service was a replacement for the Meridian News and Thames Valley Today programmes. In February 2009, the two programmes were merged into one Meridian News/Tonight programme, and the GMTV News brand was dropped.

Thames Valley Tonight

Thames Valley Tonight was a regional news programme broadcast to part of the ITV Network in the Thames Valley area of southern England. The Thames Valley news region was launched on Monday 4 December 2006 and ceased to exist on 8 February 2009. Like all regional news programmes on ITV in England and Wales and ITV Channel Television, it used the generic ITV font and idents.

Strictly Confidential

Strictly Confidential is a six-part drama, written by Kay Mellor and originally shown on ITV during November and December 2006. It stars Suranne Jones as Linda, a bisexual ex police officer turned sex therapist, who shares a practice in Leeds with her brother-in-law, played by Tristan Gemmill. Her life is complicated by the fact that her husband Richard, her business partner's brother, played by Christian Solimeno, has low fertility and cannot give her the baby she wants. She is all for asking his brother to be a sperm donor, which does not sit well with his wife. Linda's husband is also not keen on the idea at all but lets Linda go ahead and ask his brother who consents to be a sperm donor. Sexual tension becomes obvious between the pair, and they soon begin sleeping together, with disastrous consequences for all involved, especially Angie, Linda's ex-lover who is still very much in love with Linda.

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Exclusive

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! Exclusive was a 5pm teatime programme which ran each weekday on ITV1 as a secondary spin-off to series six of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!. It was co-hosted by series five runner-up Sheree Murphy and Phillip Schofield in 2006. It did not return for a second series.

Dickinson's Real Deal

Dickinson's Real Deal is an ITV, UK modern antiques and collectables television programme presented by David Dickinson. It is broadcast on ITV as part of the afternoon schedule, and is repeated on sister channel ITV3. An American version of the show, simply titled Real Deal, was aired for one series on History, produced by Zodiak USA. The elements are the same except that the US show lacks the on-screen host for intervention on the deals.

All Star Family Fortunes

The second series of All Star Family Fortunes began on ITV on 27 October 2007. It ran for ten weeks and aired every Saturday night, with the exception of the last two episodes which aired on 25 December 2007 and 5 January 2008 respectively. Although the final episode of the series aired in 2008, it can still be counted as part of the 2007 series.

Bon Voyage

When Neil and Elizabeth take their children on a camping holiday to France, they find themselves continually bumping into over-friendly couple Simon and Linda. Elizabeth finds the couple weird, but when they begin to spot Simon and Linda's campervan in their rear view mirror, and a young boy goes missing from the campsite, they realise the couple are more than creepy....they're dangerous.

Bel's Boys

Bel's Boys is a 2006 TV series based on the band of the same name. It consists of 26 15-minute episodes first broadcast on CITV and is repeated on the CITV channel. Bel's Boys was made by Initial and was part funded by the NIFTC. The series was filmed entirely in Belfast making it the biggest drama series ever to be filmed in Northern Ireland.

Trinny & Susannah Undress...

Trinny & Susannah Undress... is a British reality makeover and fashion-themed television programme on ITV featuring fashion advisors Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine. The series sees Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine going to different households where couples experience difficulties in their relationship, and explore how clothing and style impacts marriage and relationships. Woodall and Constantine give advice and improve the appearance and style of the couples in an effort to rekindle the marriages and relationships that have become troubled.

Make Your Play

Make Your Play was a live, interactive quiz show, showing in the UK on the ITV Network, from Monday to Saturday, beginning after midnight. The show was launched on Friday 29 September 2006 on ITV and ITV Play. The prizes are greater than usually available on ITV Play, but as a result of this, callers are usually taken less often. In order to win money, viewers must either call in at a cost of 75p from a BT landline, or enter through the ITV website. If they are successful they will be placed on hold, then transferred live to the studio if they are lucky, where they go on to deliver their answer. Make Your Play has given over £3 million. It went over the £3 million mark on 1 July 2007, when a contestant by the name of Mr Joseph Percy said "next day". An on screen graphic was then shown saying "£3 Million Given Away" accompanied with a siren sound effect.

The Complete Guide to Parenting

The Complete Guide to Parenting is an ITV comedy drama, starring Peter Davison as George Huntley, Professor of Child Psychology at London University, best-selling author of Hey Mum & Dad, Get Your Act Together and LBC resident parenting guru. He finds his so-called parenting expertise put to the test, when his wife Phoebe takes a job based in Paris. George has to hold the fort and look after his 7-year-old son Jamie, for the very first time, whilst juggling the rest of his busy life. Whilst scenes are filmed at UCL, which is one of the universities that make up the University of London, it is unclear whether this show's 'London University' is meant to be the University of London. The series was created and written by Paul Smith.

PokerFace

A game show where one person is guaranteed to win £1 million. As implied by the title, PokerFace, is based on the bluffing aspect of poker games. The contestants do not necessarily need to get the questions right in order to win, and can bluff their way through the game and pressure their opponents into folding in order to win.

Soccer Aid

Soccer Aid is a biennial British charity event that has raised £6.5 million in aid of UNICEF UK through ticket sales and donations. The event is a football match between two teams of celebrities and former professional players, representing England and the Rest of the World. Television coverage began on ITV on 22 May 2006 in a show presented by Ant & Dec. Soccer Aid was initiated by Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes. The event returned on 7 September 2008 and again on 6 June 2010. England beat Rest of the World in 2012.

See No Evil: The Moors Murders

See No Evil: The Moors Murders is a British two-part television serial directed by Christopher Menaul. It was produced by Granada Television and broadcast on ITV during May 2006. It tells the story of the Moors Murders, which were committed during the 1960s by Myra Hindley and Ian Brady, from the view of Hindley's sister Maureen Smith and her husband David.

Vital Signs

Vital Signs is a British television drama series airing on ITV from 2006. It stars Tamzin Outhwaite as a supermarket check-out operator who decides to become a doctor. The series co-stars William Beck, Fraser Ayres, Eve Best, Claudie Blakley, Lucinda Dryzek, Beth Goddard, Alfie Hunter, Brooke Kinsella, Harry Lloyd, Peter Rnic and Steven Waddington. The filming of the show is based in numerous London hospitals and medical schools; predominantly the show has been shot in St George's Hospital and Medical School. The theme tune, 'Go My Own Way', was written and recorded by Alexis Strum, and produced by Magnus Fiennes.
