The West Tonight

The West Tonight was the flagship news programme in the ITV West region. It was broadcast at 6pm every weeknight. It launched in 1968 as Report West and ceased broadcasting on 15 February 2009.

Mum's on Strike

Mum's on Strike was a daytime programme on ITV. Each programme features two families. The mother of the house heads off in a limo for a weekend of pampering, leaving father in charge. The mum will remove the one item from the house she reckons stops him pulling his weight in the first place. The mums leave a list of chores that need doing, and so the dad will really appreciate her work load she won't have stocked up on food over the last week, or done the laundry. On day two, the dad has to face a task their partner reckons he's always avoided in the past. It might be taking all three youngsters shopping for school shoes, or preparing a picnic and taking them out for an activity day. Meanwhile, back at the health spa, the mums are able to watch film of their partners' efforts. After the two days are up, the mums go back home to their partners and children. Then, one family out of the two wins a prize.

Sunday Feast

Sunday Feast is a cookery show on British television channel ITV. The show's hosts are Andi Peters and Anneka Rice. Their two resident chefs, who alternate week by week, are Ed Baines and Paul Merrett. The show is made by Prospect Pictures, who produce other food shows including Saturday Cooks!, Great Food Live and Food Uncut, and have previously produced Taste for Sky One. The show features a special guest each week, a look at the Sunday newspapers, and up to 3 recipes cooked by that episode's chef. Sunday Feast aired on Sunday mornings at 10am. The first series has now finished, and it will not be returning due to poor ratings.

Too Many Cooks

Too Many Cooks was a cookery competition on ITV which turns the idea of cookery shows on its head – the people cook for the chefs. It's a chance for great home cooks to prove themselves to the professionals, or be put in their place if their cooking is not up to scratch – contestants often turn out to be worse cooks than they think they are! The show was presented by Jeni Barnett, and the judges were chefs Gino D'Acampo, Richard Phillips and Alex Mackay. All three of the chefs have excellent credentials and aren’t afraid to speak their minds. The problems for the kitchen wannabes – or chefettes as presenter Jeni calls them – is that they have the pressure of time to contend with, an unfamiliar environment and a professional chefs tongue for tasting – or lashing! The show started with four teams of two people and each team had to cook a starter in ten minutes, a main course in twenty minutes and a pudding in ten minutes. They were given the title of the dish and some key ingredients as well as a larder of essential basics, but they have to rely on their own cooking know-how to come up with a recipe. A couple got eliminated after each course leaving two teams to battle it out at the pudding stage.

Finger Tips

Finger Tips is a television programme produced by RDF Media's Children's production division, The Foundation. It is made primarily for CITV and was broadcast from 3 September 2001 until 14 December 2008. The Finger Tips presenters were Stephen Mulhern series 1-4, and Fearne Cotton series 1-3. The show is about creating things out of household items and aimed at a child audience. The programme manager is Wendy Larkin. The programme is recorded at The Maidstone Studios in Kent, former home to TVS Television and countless quality children's programming. There are different categories: ⁕Finger Tips Top Make: A major project, normally at the start of the show ⁕Food Finger Tips: Easy cooking and baking recipes ⁕Fun Finger Tips: Self-made games ⁕Little Finger Tips: Items made for making over odds and ends from around the home ⁕Makeover Finger Tips: Basically the same as "Little Finger Tips"- replaced it in later shows "Top Make" and "Little" or "Make-Over Finger Tips" featured in every show, and "Fun" and "Food Tips" were usually in alternate shows. There were also more specialised categories which ran briefly. "Fizzics Finger-Tips"- Fun science experiments "Cryptic Finger-Tips"- A special series on code-breakers "Green Finger-Tips"- Plant-related projects "Techno Finger-Tips"- Projects using a computer

Luton Airport

Luton Airport is a British reality TV series which follows staff at London Luton Airport, the fourth airport of the London area and a hub for low-cost carriers such as EasyJet and Ryanair. The show followed the airport duty managers and operations personnel as the airport moved through a phase of redevelopment. No specific airline was focused on though many were seen throughout the series.

Richard Hammond's 5 O'Clock Show

Richard Hammond's 5 O'Clock Show was a television programme shown every weekday on the British channel ITV from 3 January until 10 February 2006. The show was presented by Richard Hammond and Mel Giedroyc, and featured a variety of reports on popular and unusual topics. They talked about things that matter to the public, and test claims like "an unstainable suit" or "unbreakable crockery". The show was first aired in 2006 replacing The Paul O'Grady Show, which had moved to Channel 4.
