Stardust Hotel

Nia, homeless and deeply in debt, unexpectedly inherits the Stardust, a run-down grand hotel in space. But what seems to be the solution to all her problems turns out to be pure chaos, along with the staff. Nia actually hopes to get rid of her debts by selling the hotel quickly. But to do that, she would have to get the hotel in shape and entice guests to check in, which the Stardust sorely lacks. And last but not least, she has to get her feelings for the head concierge Adam under control. She convinces Adam with a passionate speech to join her in restoring the outdated grand hotel to its former glory.

The six-part documentary series follows a training course for mine clearance divers – a specialized unit tasked with finding and defusing mines. Myshkin wants to save her and asks for her hand himself, even though he has since fallen in love with the young Aglaya.

The House in Karp Lane

The miniseries depicts the fate of the residents of an apartment block in Prague’s Jewish quarter following the invasion by German troops in 1939. Among them is an elderly widow who had once disowned her son and now wishes to bring him to Brazil; there are also the owners of a stationery shop, who are driven to ruin by the German occupiers. The caretaker Glaser, who is of German descent, also comes under pressure when his son is arrested in a communist pub. To save his own skin, he informs on two young people who are active in the resistance.

Henry VI of the House of Lancaster is driven out by Edward IV of York. His wife Margaret flees to the French court, where she tries to persuade Louis XI to take up arms against England. Edward, who makes the unequal Lady Grey his queen, is defeated and Henry is reinstated as king. Edward then flees from captivity. Together with his younger brother and Richard of Gloucester – later Richard III – he defeats Henry's army, whose only son is stabbed to death by Richard of Gloucester. Henry VI dies by the same hand. Margaret, his widow, curses the House of York.
