Top Design Australia

Top Design Australia is a reality television series focusing on interior design and renovation, hosted by Jamie Durie. Durie also serves as main judge, along with design critic Amanda Talbot and architect Nick Tobias. The show is heavily based on the American series of the same name, with a similar format and elimination process. The winner of Top Design received $100,000 in prize money. The first episode premiered on 13 July 2011, on the Nine Network.

The Million Dollar Drop

The Million Dollar Drop is a game show which airs on Nine Network in Australia and is based on the UK series The Million Pound Drop Live. However, unlike the original UK version, it is not broadcast live, and there are several changes to the format. The show premiered on 21 March 2011 and is hosted by Eddie McGuire.

AFP

AFP is an Australian factual television show that looks at the everyday workings of the Australian Federal Police. It follows AFP investigations and operations in people smuggling, counter terrorism, bomb disposal, international drug syndicates, child sex exploitation and disaster victim identification. All staff and crew who have worked on the show have been given Top Secret Security clearance, however it is unlikely that information from very high classification levels have been published. In 2013, the show was transmitted in the UK on Quest under the title "Australia's Toughest Cops".

Ben Elton Live from Planet Earth

Ben Elton Live From Planet Earth is an Australian comedy television series produced by FremantleMedia which aired on the Nine Network in 2011. The program was broadcast live as a sketch comedy and variety show. Comedian Ben Elton presented the program and performed some stand-up material, with the sketches performed by an ensemble cast including Paul McCarthy and Genevieve Morris. After critical reviews, hostile social media reaction and poor ratings, the Nine Network cancelled the show after three episodes had aired.

The ARIA Music Show

The ARIA Music Show is an Australian music television program that began airing on Go! from 10 August 2009. A version of the program also airs on the Nine Network. The program consists of music videos presented without a host, similar to rage. Initially it was broadcast overnight between the end and beginning of daily scheduled programming on the channel, but this scheduling has since been phased out. Go! have suggested that a "more substantial" version of the show will develop as the channel evolves.

Nine News Melbourne is the weeknight, flagship news bulletin of the Nine Network. It is screened in Melbourne, and across Victoria. Like all Nine News bulletins, the Melbourne bulletin runs from 6-6.30pm every day. It local, national and international news, as well as sport, weather and finance.

Nine News Sydney is the weeknight, flagship news bulletin of the Nine Network. It is screened in Sydney, and across New South Wales. Like all Nine News bulletins, the Sydney bulletin runs from 6-6.30pm every day. It covers the days latest local, national and international news, as well as sport, weather and finance.

Australian Families of Crime is an Australian documentary television series that is shown on the Nine Network and hosted by actor Vince Colosimo. Families of Crime gives an insight into some of Australia's most infamous 'Crime Families' who wielded power, fear and destruction through the community. Through interviews with family members, associates, victims and police investigators, their stories expose how some of Australia's worst criminal families operated their web of violence and corruption.

The Politically Incorrect Parenting Show

The Politically Incorrect Parenting Show is an Australian television program. It was filmed in Sydney from 16-25 February 2010. It was hosted by Nigel Latta, a New Zealand-born psychologist, who has written several books on parenting and who hosted a show by the same name in New Zealand. It aired on the Nine Network.

Match Mates

Match Mates was an Australian children's television game show that was broadcast afternoon on Nine Network Australia between 1981 and 1982. It was produced by the Grundy Organisation for Nine Network's Children's Programming. Actor David Waters was the emcee.

Pyramid

Pyramid is an Australian children's quiz show screening on the Nine Network hosted by Shura Taft. It is co-produced by Sydney-based Ambience Entertainment. It began broadcasting on 1 September 2009 and is filmed in front of a live studio audience. It involves two teams competing in games of "vocal charades". The show is based on the 1979 United States game show The Junior Partner Pyramid, a children's variant of the Sony Pictures Television Pyramid franchise. In 2013, the show premieres with a new host, Beau Walker, and a strong focus on education and interactive media, with the release of the Pyramid Digital App.

Money for Jam

Money for Jam is an Australian lifestyle television series which airs on the Nine Network. The series premiered on 2 September 2009 at 8:00 pm, and will originally consist of eight episodes. It features Money magazine editor Effie Zahos and financial expert Paul Clitheroe as presenters, as well as Nine Network personalities Shelley Craft and Shane Crawford. The series' title is a reference to the colloquialism "money for jam", which is used to imply that 'money can be made easily'. The series has not been renewed for a second series in 2010.

Missing Pieces is an Australian factual television series that screened on the Nine Network in 2009. It was hosted by Peter Overton. Missing Pieces follows the stories of people who embark on a life-changing journey to find someone special who is missing from their lives. It has a similar premise to the successful Seven Network factual television series Find My Family.

You Saved My Life

You Saved My Life is an Australian factual television series that screened on the Nine Network in 2009. It was hosted by Tara Brown. You Saved My Life follows the stories of people who have been rescued in an emergency situation and reunited with their rescuers. It has a similar premise to the successful Seven Network factual television series Triple Zero Heroes.

Kangaroo Creek Gang

Kangaroo Creek Gang was an Australian children's television cartoon series which first screened on the Nine Network in 2002. It was produced by Southern Star Group and was based on a set of reading books created from 1981 that follow the adventures of a group of Australian bush animals.

Here's Humphrey

Here's Humphrey is an Australian children's television series first aired on Monday 24 May 1965 on the Nine Network. It featured a character known as Humphrey B. Bear. In the early days Humphrey was known as Bear Bear and was named Humphrey B. Bear as the result of an on-air competition. Here's Humphrey has become one of the most successful programs for pre-schoolers in Australia.

New Faces

New Faces was an Australian talent show that preceded the British show of the same name, produced at GTV-9 Melbourne. The program began in 1963 under the name Kevin Dennis Auditions, sponsored by Kevin Dennis Motors, running on Saturday mornings. The program name soon changed to Kevin Dennis New Faces, and later simply New Faces, becoming a Sunday night prime time show. Originally hosted by Frank Wilson from 1963 to 1976, and then by Bert Newton from 1976 to 1985, the show featured two serious judges, such as Geoff Brooke, Rod McLennan and Tim Evans. Contestants would compete in heats, with the winners competing in finals. Many of its contestants later became famous, including Daryl Somers, Paul Hogan, The Hawking Brothers, Col Elliott and Julia Morris.
