Bob Dylan – Almost no singer-songwriter of the 20th century has conveyed as deep an insight into the American soul as Bob Dylan. The musician Wolfgang Niedecken, singer and songwriter of the German music group BAP, took to the roads of America to take a closer look at this soul. In five individual episodes, Niedecken meets American people who help him better understand Dylan and Dylan’s country: artists, photographers, journalists and, of course, musicians.

Will there come a point when our brain stops thinking without a computer? When we consider digital sex better than the real thing? And turn our body into a machine? We are living in the midst of an upheaval that could be more radical than anything our parents or grandparents ever experienced. But what does it all mean for us as human beings? In seven episodes the protagonist Helen Fares goes on a journey through futuristic technologies. She meets virtual friends, learns to steer a drone with her brain and to hack her own DNA. Encounters with experts in the US, Japan and Britan provide context to the posed question: Are we evolving into a new species - the Homo Digitalis? Simultaneously Homo Digitalis is a scientific experiment. In a playful test either as chatbot or as website the user can find out his or her personal future.

The Lions Rule

‘The Lions Rule’ is the saga of three lion families linked together by a strange, charmed place called the Glade: a beautiful oasis in Ruaha National Park where there is always water. The Glade is the territory of two old lionesses and their cubs. The Glade pride can bring down an adult giraffe – a remarkable skill. A magical Baobab forest spreads out beyond the Glade. This is the territory of the Baobab pride. They are the largest pride in all of Ruaha. The third pride are drifters – lean, mean and ruthless. They are the Njaa. The Njaa follow the buffalo. The herd is their territory and they are experts in the dark art of the buffalo kill. All three prides are lead by lionesses; there are no adult males in residence. This will play a major role in their fates
