Disaster Eyewitness is a TV program reviewing various disasters, produced by Raw Cut TV for Discovery Channel. It features footage recorded by mobile phones, CCTV cameras and digital cameras. The program interviews surivivors of the disasters, as well as the people who recorded the footage. Detailed computer graphics show exactly what caused the disasters. One recent disaster shown was the Enschede fireworks disaster in the eastern Dutch city of Enschede, which was caused by mishandling of 900 kg of fireworks, leading to another 177 tons of fireworks to explode. Another disaster shown was the US Airways Flight 1549, which crashed into the Hudson River after hitting a flock of Canada Geese

Al Murray's Road To Berlin is a British documentary television series about World War II, presented by Al Murray. The ten episode series was produced for the Discovery Channel, and first broadcast in 2004. During the series, Murray travels across the Western Front in a restored Willys MB Jeep, covering the timeline from the Invasion of Normandy to the fall of Berlin, interviewing survivors and showcasing some of the equipment used.

In the North American market, it has been re-released on the Discovery Science network. Wild Food is a documentary television series hosted by Ray Mears. The series airs on the BBC in United Kingdom, it is also shown on Discovery Channel in the United States, Canada, India, Italy, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands and Russia. The show was first broadcast with an episode set in Australia and ended with "Woodland". The theme tune is not unlike the one heard in World of Survival. In Wild Food, Ray presents an informative guide to cookery, travelling across the world to demonstrate traditional cooking skills and cuisine.

Cool Stuff: How It Works

Cool Stuff: How It Works is a multi-part documentary television mini-series that premiered in 2007 on the Discovery Channel. The program is based on an existing book about how "Modern Marvels" actually work. The show is hosted by Steve Truitt. It is produced by Sydney-based Beyond Television Productions, the creator of the successful Discovery Channel series MythBusters and Prototype This!.

Mongrel Nation

Mongrel Nation is a 3-part series made in 2003 and hosted by Eddie Izzard on the Discovery Channel, examining the ethnic origins of the English. The three programmes were titled: Invasion, Immigration, and Infusion.

Ocean of Fear

Ocean of Fear: Worst Shark Attack Ever is a television program that launched the 20th anniversary of the Discovery Channel's Shark Week of 2007. It was based around the incident of the sinking of the USS Indianapolis. The show initially aired on July 29, 2007, on the eve of the anniversary of the ship’s sinking in 1945. The show investigated the shark attacks that occurred when the USS Indianapolis sank. Hundreds of crew that survived were stranded in the water for four days before rescue. In that time many of the survivors endured constant shark attacks. The Discovery Channel hired George H. Burgess, a renowned investigator in shark attacks, to determine, "why the sharks attacked the way they did," and to "investigate the survival strategies of the men in the water, including those who fought the sharks."
