Madö King Granzört is a Japanese young children's animated television series that aired from 1989-1990. It was produced by Bandai Visual and animated by animation studio Sunrise. It also spawned 3 special direct-to-video episodes and two movies. A boy named Daichi Haruka takes on a journey to the moon, where he gets involved in a fight between the Takamimi, Miminaga and evil tribes. Daichi gets in Granzort, one of the machines of the Malevolent Deity Ruling Light, to fight in the world of magic.

Go! Anpanman

Anpanman is a superhero who dedicates himself to the cause of justice, aiding the plight of unfortunate souls. Anpanman will go anywhere to help anyone in trouble, to drive away villains, and to save people from starvation by allowing them to eat his face. What? Let his face be eaten? No need to worry. His face is made with sweet anpan (bread filled with bean jam), hence the name Anpanman. Anpanman's very life depends on allowing others to eat, and once eaten, Anpanman can restore himself endlessly. He does not look handsome or strong, but he never fears any adventure and is continuously flying to aid the hungry people and the children with difficulties. Anpanman is the hero of the new age, glowing with friendship, endeavour and justice.

Dennou Keisatsu Cybercop is a Japanese tokusatsu TV series. First created in 1988 by Toho Enterprises, the show was an attempt to create a Tokusatsu series using the Super Sentai motif, but the idea was dropped after the unaired episode 0. The show was broadcast on NTV and aired from October 2, 1988 to July 5, 1989.

Mashin Hero Wataru is a comedy/adventure Super Robot multimedia franchise originally consisting of 45 episode anime series created by Sunrise first aired on April 15, 1988. Sunrise credited "Hajime Yatate" for the storyline and Shuji Iuchi directed the series. The series employs a kinetic visual gag style, often employing characters running with their feet over their shoulders derived from Sunrise's previous Super Robot anime series Choriki Robo Galatt.

Transformers: Super-God Masterforce aired on Japanese television from 1988 to 1989. Taking place after Transformers: Headmasters, it is the story of how Metalhawk and his small team of Autobots must protect Earth from the mysterious Devil Z and his Decepticon forces. Tatakae!! Ramenman

This is a kungfu action story which unfolds in the old and strange land of China.Lomien-man, whose parents were murdered when he was a small boy, was brought up by a mysterious kungfu master. He underwent years of training to become a clam and composed martial arts practitioner. Having received the Secret Scripture, as authorized initiation book, from the master, he sets out on a journey to avenge his parents' death.In dangerous territory swarming with evil persons, the ring of righteousness spreads once Lomien-man appears on the scene. During the difficult journey, he grows bigger and bigger as a martial artist. Even those, who have fought fiercely one-time with Lomien-man, will later develop deep bond of friendship with him. And the old Master always gazes upon him warmly from somewhere. Thus, each time Lomien-man fights in this way, he spiritually as well as physically gets closer to becoming the mightiest martial artist.

Known as the ”Last Samurai” Saigo Takamori was a stout giant of a man with a huge head and a neck like a bear. As the leader of Satsuma’s anti-Western faction, he was instumental in establishing the Sat-Cho Alliance dreamed of by Sakamoto Ryoma. After the fall of the Tokugawa, Saigo rose to major prominence before falling in disfavor. In 1876 Saigo Takamori resigned from his government post and went back to Kagoshima. He founded a local military school and dissatisfied samurai gathered around him in large numbers. In late 1876 it came to an open conflict when samurai rebels raided and occupied ammunition and weapon depots of the central government. The samurai rebels urged and proclaimed Saigo Takamori as their leader.

Kamen no Ninja Akakage

Red Shadow, created by Yokoyama Mitsuteru, is a ninja who wears a red-and-black costume and a stylized red mask. His adventures take place in Feudal Japan, and he and his ninja sidekicks Aokage and Shirokage fight evil warlords, wizards and daikaiju using modern high-tech gadgetry (a blatant oddity in a period setting).
