Guruguru Ninety-Nine

Ninety Nine got their break on a TV "comedy battle" show, with manzai acts competing for the chance to stay on the show each week. The diminuitive Okamura is one of the best of the young boke (dimwit), with an unpredictable and wicked sense of humor. He is also willing to try just about anything, from racehorse riding to passing his body through a tennis racket. Yabe is a soccer freak who played the game in high school. Like most of the members of the Yoshimoto stable, they come from Osaka and speak the distinctive dialect. The title of their hugely successful Metcha Metcha Iketeru show is one example of this "naniwa ben". (By japan-zone)

Heisei Ultraseven

The Heisei Ultra Seven series follows directly from the final episode of the original series, ignoring the M78 continuity altogether and establishing Ultraseven as the only Ultra being to have arrived in this universe. This is a series of specials, beginning with 1994 edition which aired on Nippon Television, followed by the Memorial Trilogy in 1998, The Final Chapters in 1999, and EVOLUTION in 2002, all of which were direct-to-video.

Mikage and Tomomi Matsunaga are Miracle Girls: they have a telepathic link with each other and can teleport when they link their little fingers. Tomomi is a sports star and has a boyfriend called Noda. Mikage is the smartest student in the school and is in love with her sempai. He moved to London to study but they still kept in touch, that is until a selfish princess called Marie decides that he should come with her back to Diammas. Back in Japan the twins are having various problems of their own. But they soon realise that there is a link between Marie, an ancient legend, and a girl they know called Emma.

Kobo Tabata lives in a typical Japanese family. His father is a normal salary-man, his mother's a typical housewife, his grandparents (from his mother's side) help to take care of the family and it's pets, and his uncle's a slightly obese high school teacher. Still, they manage to find odd situations that sometimes arise due to Kobo's growing up process or simply because of their own habits and misunderstandings.

She has the dubious help of Izumi and some baby-care gadgets from the future.
