0Arashi no Shukudai-kun was a Japanese variety show that was first broadcast on October 2, 2006, on NTV. It aired from 11:58 p.m. to 12:29 a.m. (JST) every Monday and starred the members of Arashi and morning announcer Tomoaki Ogura (小倉 智昭, Ogura Tomoaki) as their co-host. The theme centered on homework, hence the show's title; Arashi had audience viewers send in homework for guests to do and vice versa. The show ended on March 22, 2010.

Hino goes to a school that specializes in music and has two streams: the normal stream and the music stream, where the music students are regarded as the more elite. She was running late for her class one day when she saw a tiny fairy, who seemed really excited that she could see it. The next day, the entrants in the music competition, who are decided by the school, are announced. Hino's name appears on the list - except she doesn't play an instrument. The fairy gives her a magical violin that can be played by anyone. Reluctantly, she enters into the competition and is forced to deal with the prejudices of her peers.

As the lessons and days go by he learns there is much more to school than just tests and studying.

With the help of her coach, childhood friend Sekino Hiroyuki, and the boys' rowing team, she and her team are able to overcome those obstacles. Ganbatte Ikimasshoi is a sports drama about hope, hard work, and perseverance.

The Queen's Classroom is a live-action Japanese television drama about Maya Akutsu, a new teacher at Hanzaki Elementary School who strives for perfection and punishes her students in unorthodox manners. A 12 year old student, Kazumi Kanda, has been able to withstand her strange punishments so far but the other 23 students begin to fold under the pressure. A South Korean remake of the same title starring Go Hyun-jung in the lead role, was produced in 2013.
