The Fjord Cowboys follows Lothepus, the hard working expert on explosives, and Joar, his hedonistic apprentice and their lives on the shores of the world famous Hardanger Fjord. Behind their somewhat rough appearance, they are in fact a pair of astute entreprenour businessmen with no fear of authority who play by their own rules. Together they work hard, and party even harder. But they have children to raise, projects to execute and loved ones to deal with, and their particular zest for life does not always match other peoples’ expectations.

Divided into two teams, celebrities are blindfolded, and dropped into some of the most remote locations on earth. With no food, no map, and no help, they must make their way through unforgiving landscapes in a race to find civilization. A daily radio message from the show's host is their only indication as to how far they've gone. Each week, the losing team faces an elimination challenge, until only four contestants remain. In the final it's every man for himself: there can be only one winner. Dropped into desert, jungle, mountains and snow. Stunning landscapes; brutal environments. This is reality television at its most authentic.

The Amazing Race Norge

The Amazing Race Norge is a Norwegian reality game show based on the American series, The Amazing Race. On October 2011 a Norwegian version of the show was announced by TV 2. Applications were open from 11 October 2011 to 31 October 2011. Filming took place in January 2012. Ex-football player Freddy dos Santos is the presenter of The Amazing Race Norge. The first season premiered on 11 April 2012. It is produced by Rubicon TV in association with ABC Studios.
