Mongrels

Mongrels, formerly known under the working titles of We Are Mongrels and The Un-Natural World, is a British puppet-based situation comedy series first broadcast on BBC Three between 22 June and 10 August 2010, with a making-of documentary entitled "Mongrels Uncovered" broadcast on 11 August 2010. A second series of Mongrels began airing on 7 November 2011. The series revolves around the lives of five anthropomorphic animals who hang around the back of a pub in Millwall, the Isle of Dogs, London. The characters are Nelson, a metrosexual fox; Destiny, an Afghan hound; Marion, a "borderline-retarded" cat; Kali, a grudge-bearing pigeon; and Vince, Nelson's friend, a sociopathic foul-mouthed fox.

Stanley Park

Stanley Park is one of a collection of drama pilot episodes produced for BBC Three and was broadcast on 10 June 2010. The story focuses on a group of young friends going through a life-changing period of their lives. The episode was produced by 6 Degree Media and was written by Leo Richardson and inspired by his stage play.

Lee Nelson's Well Good Show

Lee Nelson's Well Good Show is a British comedy sketch show, written and presented by Simon Brodkin, and produced by Avalon Television for BBC Three. It features Brodkin hosting a studio based show as his comedy character Lee Nelson, a happy-go-lucky chav, and also features television sketches of Brodkin's other comedy characters.

The Gemma Factor is a BBC Three sitcom starring Anna Gilthorpe, Claire King and Gwyneth Powell. The series is similar to many current programmes of this sort, by which it is simulcast on BBC Three and BBC HD. The series premiered on Tuesday 9 March 2010, and has six episodes.

Undercover Princesses

Undercover Princesses is a BBC Three reality TV show which took three royal claimants from foreign cultures and placed them in Ingatestone where they had to 'live and date' like normal people. The idea for the programme came from the 1988 Eddie Murphy film Coming to America. The contestants are Xenia Gabriela Florence Sophie Iris, Princess of Saxony and Duchess to Saxony, Germany, b. 1986; HRH Princess Sheillah Cinderella Nvannungi of Buganda, Uganda, b. 1982 although this claim by her is disputed; and HH Princess Aaliya Sultana Babi of Balasinor, India, b. 1974. The three women lived in a house together in Essex and the primary focus is on their search to find love in the UK whilst at the same time getting used to doing things for themselves. Only one of the princesses, Sheillah Cinderella Nvannungi, was able to find a long lasting relationship, with former Tobagan basketball player Paul David as her candidate.

This Is Jinsy

This Is Jinsy is a British comedy series. The pilot first aired on 1 March 2010 on BBC Three. The programme is about the bizarre residents of the fictional island of Jinsy and based on the island of Guernsey, where the two writers are from. The show was written by Chris Bran and Justin Chubb who also play the leading roles. Although the pilot episode was made for the BBC, the full series of eight episodes was picked up by Sky Atlantic. The first series began airing with a double bill on 19 September 2011 and ended on 31 October 2011. A second series was screened in January 2014.

Move Like Michael Jackson

Move Like Michael Jackson is a British talent show made by independent production company Fever Media and Gogglebox Entertainment and transmitted on BBC Three, which aims to find people who can dance like pop singer Michael Jackson. The show began airing several months after the entertainer's death in June 2009. Presented by television personality Reggie Yates, the programme broadcast s the auditions of hopefuls as they perform in front of the show's judges: Mark Summers, contemporary R&B singer Jamelia, and Jackson's elder brother and former Jackson 5 band member Jermaine.

Mouth to Mouth

Mouth to Mouth is a 2009 comedy-drama television series written by Karl Minns and broadcast on BBC Three. A successful pilot episode of the programme had been broadcast in 2008, starring the same female cast as the full series but no males and with a significantly different story. Each of the six episodes follow a monologue structure where each of the main characters describe their life around the same date. As the series progresses the viewer discovers how each of the lives are interwoven. On the surface the script has some fine humorous moments but underlying it deals with some serious issues.
