Skavlan

Skavlan is a Norwegian-Swedish television talk show hosted by Norwegian journalist Fredrik Skavlan. It premiered in Sweden on Sveriges Television in January 2009, and the first guests to appear on the show were former Prime Minister of Sweden Göran Persson and his wife Anitra Steen. On 8 May 2009, it was announced that Skavlan had been renewed for a second season. It was also announced that the show would no longer only be produced by SVT in Sweden; Skavlan would now be partly produced in Norway by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The first twelve episodes of Skavlan's second season were produced by SVT in Sweden, and the remaining twelve by NRK in Norway. Skavlan speaks Norwegian and his dialog is therefore subtitled in Swedish in Sweden, even though the two languages are quite similar and mutually intelligible. If the persons being interviewed by Skavlan are Swedish, he often tells them to let him know if they do not understand what he is saying. Swedish novelist Jan Guillou has criticized SVT for subtitling the program, stating "there is no need for that. If the host had been Danish, subtitling would have been necessary, but with a Norwegian host it does not make any sense."

Norwegian miniseries based on Unni Lindell's mystery novel. An elderly woman is shot and killed in Ullevål Hageby. Witnesses have observed some boys on skateboards at the time the woman was shot. Cato Isaksen and his team are assigned to the case. They discover that the victim's grandchild in Drøbak has been missing for several months. Cato Isaksen is faced with a new and gruesome murder case.

Her best friend Esther Synnøve Lønn is found murdered with her throat slit. A few days later, Esther's son also disappears. When the police begin to scratch beneath the surface, it turns out that a childhood friend of Lise and Esther Synnøve is also missing. The relationship between the friends hides dark undercurrents. What really happened when the girls were little? And what are their mothers hiding? The dark threads between the characters are woven together in a dangerous pattern. Someone wants revenge, but who? And why? Cato Isaksen has a new and sinister murder case to solve.

Halvseint

Halvseint is an animated satirical chatshow that premièred on the Norwegian TV channel NRK1 in 2007. The show is hosted by Captain Felix and his sidekick Amy who interview both known guests and fictional characters. Halvseint is the first animated series that NRK has produced. The first season constituted six 25 minute episodes and one Christmas special that aired December 24, 2007. The second season started April 3, 2008 and lasted four episodes.

Codename Hunter is a tense action drama set in the world of international organized crime. In Norway, the brutal hijacking of a prison transport leads to the creation of a multi-national team of operatives with extraordinary powers. Led by brilliant police analyst Dan Wester, the Hunter team also includes Bjørn Rønningen, whose brother was killed in the initial ambush, and Swedish deep cover operative Gisela Søderlund.
