They are European cities on the rise, major cultural centres but hardly anybody outside of the region really know of them: the cities of the Balkan. Many Europeans still associate cities such as Bucharest, Belgrade, Ljubljana, Sofia and Sarajevo with socialist dictatorship and prefabricated dreariness. For most, they are sites for the bloody wars of the 90s. But for young creative minds, these places belong among the coveted lists of “places to be”. The cities have endured long difficult pasts, and now they offer an exciting and inspiring present with lots of potential for the future. Reasons enough for a trip to the old and new cities of the Balkan.

When he made Sandra Wellmann, mother of one son, his assistant, he had no idea what additional danger he was exposing himself to. Because Wellmann is doing common cause with RAF members Bettina Pohlmann and Klaus Gelfert and is supposed to provide them with information for the planned attack on Dahlmann.

This documentary drama series tells the story of the Thirty Years War from the perspective of the people who experienced it: like the soldier Peter Hagendorf, the "Winter Queen" Elisabeth Stuart, the famous artist Peter Paul Rubens and the "Grey Eminence" Father Joseph. This visual memory of the 17th century forms the 'archive footage' in the series. Combined with vivid drama and contributions from international experts, the series builds a bridge between "now" and "then" enabling viewers to experience what it was like to live through the Thirty Years' War.

Luna Kunath (Caroline Erikson) and Tamara Meurer (Anjua Pahl) work together in the Potsdam murder commission. Luna is single, strong, assertive, funny, empathic, sporty and fast in the head. It is an excellent policewoman whose carefree always accompanies with a little naivety and brings you again and again in brenzy situations. Tamara, however, has more mature, adult. The two of the boss Bernhard Henschel (Michael Lott) and the colleagues David Grünbaum (Omar El-Saeidi), Christoph Westermann (Hendrik von Bültzingslöwen), lail-sure Thomas Brandner (Yung No) and legal physician Werner Vense (Bernd Stegemann). Potsdam, Berlin's pretty little sister, confronts the commissars again and again with a wide variety of life effects. However, the team not only determines in Potsdam, but must always be out of the surrounding area. Because the crime does not stop at the city limit.
