The Variants

The Variants is an American web series comedy about four employees who work in comic retail. This scripted comedy has completed 28 episodes comprising three seasons. The Variants aired its first episode August 4, 2009 and wrapped season one in May 2010. Its second season began May 3 of 2011 and completed in February 2012. The Variants completed a successful Kickstarter campaign on May 29, 2012 to fund a season three. A promo teaser was released on August 8, 2012 to Comics Alliance in advance of the new season. Season three launched weekly on September 3, 2012. The show is filmed on location at Zeus Comics in Dallas Texas. While the series is available free on YouTube, Season One of The Variants was compiled on DVD in June 2011.

The web series follows film student Jay Merrick (Troy Wagner) as he investigates what happened to the student film Marble Hornets, abandoned by its director Alex Kralie (Joseph DeLage) after encountering the Slender Man (called "the Operator").

I Heart Vampires

I Heart Vampires is a web television series produced by Take180. The series consists of a first season of 22 episodes which ran from March 19, 2009 until September 11, 2009, a second season of 20 episodes which premiered on January 28, 2010, as well as two derivative series that run concurrently with the second season, and concluded on June 4, 2010. The series is well received, and is the first non-variety sketch show on the site to make it past a first season. The show, like many on the site, takes fan submissions and integrated them into each episode.

Unable to find gainful employment (or pay for his impending wedding), Nate secretly tags along on Joe's work-for-hire Craigslist adventures. Each episode finds the unlikely pair doing an outlandish job for ridiculous people in an absurd attempt to earn a random buck.

The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya

A parody series featuring the entire cast of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya in a smaller form factor. Among the changes are: Yuki plays eroge, Haruhi is even more obnoxiuous and loud, Mikuru is even more emotional and Koizumi harbors a deep love for Kyon. Kyon, on the other hand, is generally the same as ever.

Nyoron! Churuya-san

Churuya is a girl with a strong passion for smoked cheese. But Kyon and the rest of the crew know this, and they make use of the weakness. They make her do all kinds of things with smoked cheese as a possible reward. But Churuya isn't aware of this evil plot, thus she maintains the effort for the sake of cheese. Each day is a struggle to get the beloved smoked cheese, but it's much harder than she could ever imagine!

Carpool

Carpool is a web series presented by English actor and comedian Robert Llewellyn. In each episode he interviews a guest while giving them a lift in an eco-friendly car. The guests are often well-known British television personalities such as Jonathan Ross or Ade Edmondson. However, Llewellyn also interviews less-well-known figures as long as he feels that they will prove to be an interesting subject. The guests have also included Llewellyn's fellow Red Dwarf actors, Danny John Jules, Craig Charles, Chris Barrie and Hattie Hayridge. Llewellyn has also reunited with his Scrapheap Challenge co-hosts, Cathy Rogers and Lisa Rogers for interviews. The show is filmed using small cameras mounted within the car, and Llewellyn drives his guest to a destination of their choosing as they talk informally about a variety of subjects. As Llewellyn is driving for the majority of the time it can be difficult to deal with technical problems especially interference from mobile phones. Occasionally, such as during the Lisa Rogers episode, outside events such as being stopped by police interrupt the discussions.

An audio/video digital media art piece from the expansive mind of Tommy Tallarico, Gamer Warz documents the ongoing conflict of gamers from all walks of life and time periods. This was created by Tommy Tallarico.

Malviviendo

Malviviendo is an online series produced by Diffferent and directed by David Sainz. In July 2011, the show released its fourteenth episode. The first episode launched in November 24, 2008 and became successful in a few months with positive reviews by the public. It employs mostly amateur actors, and those involved in the series do it for free. The series is set in the fictional neighborhood of "Los Banderilleros" of the Spanish city of Seville. The characters are a group of friends trapped in their everyday bad lives related to consumption of cannabis or other problems individual to each character. The show contains allusions to and parodies of a variety of other series, including Dexter, My Name Is Earl, The Sopranos, Lost, ALF, The X-Files, Prison Break, Sex and the City, The Brady Bunch, South Park, Boardwalk Empire, The IT Crowd and How I Met Your Mother. Also the Spanish program Callejeros chain Cuatro in the fifth episode called Callejosos. In the third episode of the second season spoof the header of the series Misfits, but the content of the episode is a parody of the movie Inception. In June 2009, the series got the support of Qualid. There it launched two mini-episodes minicapítulos. One focused on the character of Mateo and the other in "el Puto".
