Memory

A human drama describing the life of a talented lawyer diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s, as he comes face to face with himself and his family. A 50-something lawyer, Hidehisa Honjo (Kiichi Nakai), diagnosed with an early-onset Alzheimer-like form of dementia, keeps forgetting the things he must remember while constantly being reminded of the things he longs to forget. What he longs to forget is the fact that his son died in a car accident in the past. The person responsible for his son’s death has never been apprehended. Unable to face the past until now and thinking only about his job while neglecting his new family, as he begins to gradually lose his memory, he takes on his last case and the challenge of uncovering the past during what remains of his life. Losing his memory causes him to break away from the world and his own suffering. As he looks back on his life, which he had come to think of as extremely successful, and tries to repair the relationship with his estranged family, he will discover what’s really important in life.

Family's Journey

A deeply suspenseful drama in which a young lawyer who survived the murder of his family 30 years ago confronts a criminal on death row. Thirty years ago, a family of three was slaughtered. Facing the death row convict accused of the crime is young lawyer Yusuke Asari (Hideaki Takizawa). Yusuke has been retained by a woman who wants him to request a retrial for the death row convict. The death row convict is none other than Kozo Yanase (Kenichi Endo), who killed Yusuke's parents and grandfather. Yusuke thus finds himself in the difficult position of requesting a retrial for the man who killed his own immediate family... As he goes over the accident, a series of shocking facts come to light one after the other. All these facts are somehow related to Yusuke, .and lead him to find the answer to the question: "Who am I?" His sense of duty as a lawyer and his emotions as a lonely man are put to the test. What awaits him once he overcomes bewilderment, conflict, and pain?

Residential Complex

Story depicts the conflicts and growth of families who live at co-operative houses. Nana Igarashi is 35-years-old and works as a diving instructor. She is married to Daiki who is 32-years-old and works at a toy company. They live in a small apartment, while saving up to buy a house. They enjoy their life. Nana and Daiki decide to buy a co-operative house. They also try to have a baby. Nana and Daiki realize it isn't easy to have baby.

Princess Jellyfish

20 year old Tsukimi Kurashita can barely see without her glasses. She came to Tokyo from Kagoshima Prefecture to become an illustrator, but she doesn't attend college or sells any of her illustrations. She lives at a communal apartment. At the apartment, only otaku type women live there. Tsukimi Kurashita likes jellyfish due to memories she has with her late mother. One day, due to a jellyfish, Tsukimi Kurashita meets Kuranosuke Koibuchi. He loves fashion and his hobby is to dress up like a woman. She also meets Kuranosuke’s older brother Shu Koibuchi. Her life soon changes because of them.

Sato Tomoko leads an ordinary life with her husband and young child. One day, she defies the rules at the company where she works part-time to supplement the household income, and is fired. Hirata Kazumi, a former star political journalist at a newspaper and a friend whose child attends the same nursery school, is inspired by Tomoko’s energy and ability to unify people, and becomes her supporter.

Isao Komori is a college dropout who spends his days cooped up in his apartment playing video games. Another "Komori" inhabits his old body, and Mari has disappeared. Komori struggles to maintain Mari's ordinary life and starts to investigate Mari's disappearance.

Aizawa Hinata is a high school counselor who provides support to students with school and family problems. This is motivated by the warped relationship she had with her over-controlling mother which she could not discuss with anyone. One day, a male student who has not been attending school confesses that he likes her. However, he dies mysteriously the next day. Hinata takes action to determine the cause of his death and learns that the boy suffered insidious bullying at school and excessive meddling by his mother. He had a record of delinquency and kept rough company. Hinata is hounded by his mother who believes that she is responsible for her son's suicide, and is driven to the verge of breaking down.
