The Queen of SOP is a Chinese-Taiwanese idol drama series produced by GTV and is directed by Zhang Boyu. It stars actresses Joe Chen, Zhang Meng and Jiang Yi and actors Godfrey Gao and Zhang Han as its main leads. The show first aired on Chinese TV network Hunan Television before first airing on Taiwanese TV network FTV on 14 October 2012. The show will replace FTV's and GTV's slot for Once Upon a Love, which will broadcast its last episode on 7 October and 13 October 2012 respectively.

It is a sequel to 2005 series KO One and was produced by Comic International Productions. The series started filming in June 2006 and wrapped in April 2007. It was broadcast on cable TV Gala Television Variety Show/CH 28 on 8 August 2007 to 23 October 2007. The prequel KO One was broadcast on 26 November 2005 to 27 May 2006 and a threequel, K.O.3an Guo was broadcast on 28 February 2009 to 27 February 2010, on cable TV Gala Television Variety Show/CH 28.

It was produced by Comic Productions and directed by Mingtai Wang. It was broadcast on cable TV Gala Television Variety Show/CH 28 on 3 June 2006 to 23 September 2006. At the time the drama was filmed, Wu Chun was a relatively new actor and spoke unsatisfactory Mandarin, so producers had his voice dubbed over by Julian Yang.
