Truth or Consequences

Truth or Consequences is an American television show originally hosted on NBC radio by Ralph Edwards and later on television by Edwards, Jack Bailey, Bob Barker, Bob Hilton and Larry Anderson. The television show ran on CBS, NBC and also in syndication. The premise of the show was to mix the original quiz element of game shows with wacky stunts. The daily syndicated show was produced by Ralph Edwards Productions, in associated with and distributed by Metromedia Producers Corporation and Lorimar-Telepictures.

Missing, hosted by Alex Paen, is a weekly syndicated TV series in the United States profiling real cases of missing persons. The series debuted in 2003. According to the official website, as of October 2011, over 600 persons featured on Missing have been safely recovered.

Power of Attorney

Power of Attorney is an American-syndicated nontraditional court show that differed from other judge shows in that each side was represented by prominent attorneys who cross-examined witnesses. The chairman of the American Bar Association and O.J. Simpson defense attorney Johnnie Cochran were guest attorneys on the show. Also, O.J. Simpson prosecutors Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden were also guest attorneys. Gloria Allred, who has handled several high-profile cases, was also on hand. Geoffrey Fieger, who defended Dr. Jack Kevorkian; Dominic Barbara, who represented Joey Buttafuoco; Jeffrey W. Steinberger, Legal Analyst/TV Commentator and Keith Fink were also among guest attorneys on the show. The show's judge was Andrew Napolitano during the first season, 2000 - 2001, and in the second season, Judge Lynn Toler was the presiding judge. The show was cancelled mid-way through the second season due to low ratings, the effects of pre-emptions at the start of the second season due to the September 11 attacks breaking the momentum of Toler's debut, and high cost of the 10 or so rotating high-profile attorneys.

Texas Justice

Texas Justice is a syndicated American arbitration-based reality court show. In the program, cases were run by former Houston attorney Larry Joe Doherty, and the program was recorded at the studios of Fox station KRIV in Houston, Texas. The series lasted for 4¹⁄2 seasons in syndication from March 26, 2001 until May 20, 2005. It was cancelled in September 2005. In most markets, the program was replaced by Judge Alex; that program also tapes at KRIV. For a time in early February 2010, reruns of Texas Justice began airing on Ion Television until February 19. In, September 2010, the show was turned over to its sister network ION Life and aired there until September 2011. It currently airs at 7am and 12pm Monday-Friday, on YouToo TV.

Rolonda was a syndicated daytime talk show that aired from January 17, 1994 to September 1997. It featured Rolonda Watts as the host, and was produced by Watts Works Productions in association with King World Productions, and was also distributed by King World.

Pyramid

Pyramid is an American television game show that has aired several versions. The original series, The $10,000 Pyramid, debuted March 26, 1973, and spawned seven subsequent Pyramid series. The game featured two contestants, each paired with a celebrity. Players attempt to guess a series of words or phrases based on descriptions given to them by their teammates. The title refers to the show's pyramid-shaped gameboard, featuring six categories arranged in a triangular fashion. The various Pyramid series won a total of nine Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Game Show, second only to Jeopardy!, which has won thirteen. Dick Clark is the host most commonly associated with the show, having hosted every incarnation from 1973–88, save for a 1974–79 syndicated version, The $25,000 Pyramid, hosted by Bill Cullen. John Davidson hosted a 1991-92 version of The $100,000 Pyramid, and another version, simply titled Pyramid, ran from 2002–04 with Donny Osmond as host. A new version titled The Pyramid premiered September 3, 2012 on GSN. This version was hosted by Mike Richards. The show only lasted one season before being cancelled.

The People's Court

The People's Court is an American arbitration-based reality court show currently presided over by retired Florida State Circuit Court Judge Marilyn Milian. Milian, the show's longest-reigning arbiter, handles small claims disputes in a simulated courtroom set. The People's Court is the first court show to use binding arbitration, introducing the format into the genre in 1981. The system has been duplicated by most of the show's successors in the judicial genre. Moreover, The People's Court is the first popular, long-running reality in the judicial genre. It was preceded only by a few short-lived realities in the genre; these short-lived predecessors were only loosely related to judicial proceedings, except for one: Parole took footage from real-life courtrooms holding legal proceedings. Prior to The People's Court, the vast majority of TV courtroom shows used actors, and recreated or fictional cases. Among examples of these types of court shows include Famous Jury Trials and Your Witness. The People's Court has had two contrasting lives. The show's first life was presided over solely by former Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Joseph Wapner. His tenure lasted from the show's debut on September 14, 1981, until May 21, 1993, when the show was cancelled due to low ratings. This left the show with a total of 2,484 ½-hour episodes and 12 seasons. The show was taped in Los Angeles during its first life. After being cancelled, reruns aired until September 9, 1994.

The Daily Buzz

The Daily Buzz is a nationally-syndicated breakfast television news and infotainment program. The show is owned and produced by Mojo Brands Media, and it originates every weekday morning from studios at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The show caters to a younger-skewing audience demographic and has a more informal atmosphere in comparison to its morning counterparts. Premiering on 10 stations on September 16, 2002, The Daily Buzz is currently carried on stations in 180 U.S. television markets. The show normally airs for 3 hours every day in the 6:00AM-9:00AM time slot, with start and running times varying by market. The show is also streamed live-to-air on its TheDBZ.com website.
