Trollkins

Trollkins is a 1981 animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera that aired for one season on CBS. The show was inspired from The Dukes of Hazard and the Troll Dolls. Essentially a cross between The Smurfs and The Dukes of Hazard, it followed the adventures of Blitz, Pixlee, and Flooky.

The New Adventures of Zorro

The New Adventures of Zorro is an American animated television series produced by Filmation in 1981. The series, which has 13 episodes, is based on the fictional character created by Johnston McCulley. It aired as part of The Tarzan/Lone Ranger/Zorro Adventure Hour. This is the only series Filmation made in which they contracted an outside, third party animation studio. The series was outsourced to Tokyo Movie Shinsha in Japan. All other series afterwards were animated internally by Filmation themselves. It was producer Norm Prescott's final series with Filmation, bringing to an end the famous 'rotating producers' wheel Filmation was famous for. From Gilligan's Planet onwards, Lou Scheimer would handle production duties on his own.

The Kwicky Koala Show

The Kwicky Koala Show is a Saturday morning cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera Australia in 1981 for CBS. The TV program is notable for being among cartoon director Tex Avery's final works. Avery died during production in 1980 and the show was broadcast for one season on CBS. As it was produced in Australia, the Cartoon Network and later Boomerang broadcast was sourced from PAL masters, rather than NTSC masters like many other Hanna-Barbera productions. Each segment has been shown separately in-between shows on the Boomerang Network.

Shannon

Shannon is an hour-long 9-episode CBS crime drama starring Kevin Dobson. Jack Shannon is a recently widowed detective who moves from New York to San Francisco to live and work, intending to be closer to his wife's parents. In New York, Shannon operated in a single mode—always moving forward. However, he discovers that in San Francisco, the approach is more relaxed; they also take time to pause. He faces considerable resistance from the laid-back San Francisco police officers, who are not impressed by his intensity or his methods. When he requests his coffee to be served "regular," they smirk at him. Additionally, when he is dissatisfied with a crime arrest that he feels is questionable, they merely blink in response.

Peter and Paul

Peter and Paul assume leadership of the Church as they struggle against violent opposition to the teachings of Christ and their own personal conflicts.

Park Place

Park Place is a short-lived legal sitcom that first aired on CBS on April 9, 1981 and was cancelled on April 30, 1981 after four episodes. The series centers on young lawyers working for a legal aid clinic in Manhattan.

Checking In

Checking In is an American sitcom that aired on CBS in April 1981. The series is a spin-off of The Jeffersons, which itself had spun off from All in the Family.

Private Benjamin

Private Benjamin is an American sitcom based on the movie of the same name. The show aired on CBS from April 6, 1981, to January 10, 1983. Eileen Brennan, who reprised her role from the film, won an Emmy and Golden Globe Award for her work on the series.

Nurse is an American medical drama that aired on CBS from April 2, 1981 to May 1982. Series star Michael Learned won an Emmy in 1982 for her role on the show.

Freebie and the Bean

Freebie and the Bean is a short-lived hour-long police drama based on the 1974 film of the same name. The series stars Tom Mason as Freebie and Héctor Elizondo as Bean, two San Francisco police detectives.

Secrets of Midland Heights

A short-lived nighttime soap for a teen demographic, it featured romantic triangles and secrets among the youth and their parents who populate a fictional midwestern college town called Midland Heights. Resembling a dark, 1980s-style Peyton Place, the plot dealt in both hidden secrets and scandalous affairs. Lisa Rogers carried on with college jock Burt Carroll while also seeing fraternity jerk Mark; good girl heiress Ann Dulles secretly dated high school dropout John; Holly Wheeler wanted to lose her virginity to her boyfriend Teddy Welsh, but the teens were shocked to discover her mother Dorothy was having an affair with Teddy's father Nathan.

Drak Pack

Drak Pack is an animated television series. It aired in the United States on CBS Saturday Morning between September 6, 1980 and September 12, 1982. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera's Australian subsidiary, listed in the credits as "Hanna-Barbera Pty. Ltd". A total of 16 episodes were made.

Enos

Enos is an American television series from the 1980–1981 season that aired on the CBS network. A spinoff of The Dukes of Hazzard, Enos focused on the adventures of Enos Strate, a former small-town deputy in Hazzard County, after having moved to Los Angeles to join the L.A.P.D. Each episode featured Enos, alongside his partner Turk, and usually began and ended with Enos writing a letter to Daisy Duke in which he told her of his adventures in Los Angeles. Enos Strate was portrayed by actor Sonny Shroyer in both series. In an attempt to boost ratings, a number of characters from The Dukes of Hazzard were brought in as guest stars but the show still failed to catch on. It was canceled after one eighteen episode season and the character consequently returned to The Dukes of Hazzard in the fall of 1982. In the CBS movie specials The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion! and The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood!, it was explained that Enos had returned to the L.A.P.D. where he was now a detective after having served on the force for fifteen years.

Ladies' Man

Ladies Man is an American situation comedy television series starring Lawrence Pressman as a divorced male working at a women's magazine. The series premiered October 27, 1980, on CBS. The program also stars Louise Sorel and her former husband, Herbert Edelman. The show was written by Anne Convy and Carmen Finestra. The series did not do well in the ratings and was canceled after one season.

Miniseries based on the 1977 autobiography by Philip Caputo about his service in the United States Marine Corps in the early years of American involvement in the Vietnam War.

The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show

The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show is an animated television program produced by Filmation for MGM Television in 1980, on CBS for Saturday mornings. The show lasted one season and the individual episodes were eventually added to syndicated Tom and Jerry packages, and also occasionally appeared on Cartoon Network and Boomerang. Most voices were done by Frank Welker and Lou Scheimer.
