Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala

Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala is a comedy reality show that aired on STAR Plus in India every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm. Four teams including some of the biggest names from films and television competed, and the show was hosted by actress Jennifer Winget. Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala was launched on 19 March 2011 and was produced by Reliance BIG Entertainment. The show ended on 11 June 2011 after a grand finale episode. The winner, Shreyas Chi Mandli, was awarded Rs 50 Lakh.

Surabhi

Surabhi was a popular Indian cultural magazine show hosted by Renuka Shahane and Siddharth Kak, which ran from 1990 to 2001. It was telecast on Doordarshan, the Indian state-run television channel, and later moved to Star Plus on Sunday mornings. Surabhi was produced by Kak's Mumbai based production house Cinema Vision India and had Indian culture as its central theme. The show holds the distinction of being India's longest-running cultural series and features in the Limca Book of Records for receiving the largest measured audience response ever in the history of Indian television.

Wife Bina Life

Wife Bina Life is the Indian version of the popular British reality show The Week the Women Went. It premiered on STAR Plus on January 29, 2011 at 9.00 PM and airs Saturday - Sunday each week.

Love U Zindagi

Love U Zindagi is an Indian television series which premiered on January 29, 2011 on STAR Plus. The series is based on the story of a young, bold and bubbly girl Geet. The story is set in a Punjabi backdrop, and is loosely based on the Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer Jab We Met.

Sapnon Se Bhare Naina

Sapno Se Bhare Naina is an Indian soap opera which aired every Monday to Friday at 2:00pm on the Indian television channel STAR Plus from 20 December 2010 until 3 February 2012. This show portrays the story of a girl called Naina who is a sprightly 21-year-old residing in the scenic locales of Sikkim. Though bright, friendly and extremely beautiful, this fatherless and illegitimate child has never experienced the joy of being loved by her family. Her destiny at birth has completely defined the course of her life, which is filled with rejection and disappointment. However, Naina chooses to deal with her life positively and decides to leave home in search of love and acceptance. Over time, the story showcases Naina’s indomitable spirit and her optimistic perspective towards life and the hurdles it throws at her.

Khullja Sim Sim

Khullja Sim Sim is an Indian television game show which originally aired on STAR Plus for the first two seasons, premiered on July 27, 2001. The first season was hosted by popular film actor and presenter Aman Verma and the second season by Hussain Kuwajerwala. The third season of the series premiered on BIG Magic on September 17, 2012, also hosted by Aman Verma, produced by BIG Productions of Reliance Entertainment.

Koie Jane Na

Koi Jane Na is an Indian thriller Television Series that aired on STAR Plus between 2004 and 2005. The series had 13 episodes that aired once a week.

Aap Ki Kachehri- Kiran Ke Saath

Gulaal

Zindgi Ka Har Rang ... Gulaal,English: All the colors of life, was a drama-series that aired on Star Plus. This show is the baby of Sphere Origins and premiered on November 15, 2010 and was aired till August 28, 2011. Sphere Origins already have shows like Saat Phere, Balika Vadhu and Jyoti to their credit. Gulaal is written by Prakash Kapadia and directed by Sidharth Sengupta. The amazing direction and cinematography set the show apart. The show concluded on the 28th August 2011 as Diya Aur Baati Hum replaced Gulaal.

Tu Tu Main Main

Tu Tu Main Main, was an Indian television comedy series which aired on Doordarshan and later STAR Plus directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar. The title Tu Tu Main Main is phrase in Hindi meaning arguments and bickering. The series was first premiered on Doordarshan's DD Metro Channel, where it ended in 1995, thereafter it was taken up by STAR Plus in 1996, in all it ran for 11 years. It also had rerun on 9X, STAR Utsav, and BIG Magic. After its success, a sequel to the serial with same themes and extended cast, Kadvee Khatti Meethi was also directed by Sachin. It is dubbed in Tamil and is being telecast in Raj TV as Bhama Vijayam.

Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha

Kaali Ek Agnipariksha was a Hindi language crime fiction TV series that aired on Star Plus channel between September 13, 2010 to March 18, 2011. The show tackled the idea of physical violence and sexual harassment of women in India.

Chhote Ustaad

Chhote Ustaad - Do Deshon Ki Ek Awaaz was a singing show airing on STAR Plus in India and on Geo Entertainment Television in Pakistan.

Chand Chupa Badal Mein

Chand Chupa Badal Mein is a show by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut, which has produced hit shows such as Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Bangayi Hamari Laadli Dulhan. Chaand Chupa Baadal Mein premiered on June 28, 2010. It is directed by Rajan Shahi, Romesh Kalra and Sunand Kumar. It had aired on STAR Plus every day at 8:00PM

Tere Mere Sapne

Tere Mere Sapne is an Indian television series that was broadcast on STAR Plus from November 4, 2009, to December 16, 2011. The serial was produced by Sphere Origins. It was shown at 1pm with other afternoon shows such as Hamari Devrani, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Sapnon Se Bhare Naina. Just after the show ended STAR Plus decided to end all the other shows in the afternoon slots.

Sisters

Behenein was an Indian television soap opera, broadcast on Star Plus channel every weekday at 6:00PM from February 8, 2010 to April 29, 2011. Now the show is also being telecast on STAR Vijay dubbed in Tamil. This is the story of four sisters, Purva, Smriti, Aakashi and Anokhi who live in Baroda with their parents, Sevantilal and Revti Shastri. Purva is a free-spirited girl who is grounded in the values given to her by her parents

Sasural Genda Phool

Sasuraal Genda Phool is an Indian television drama series that premiered on March 1, 2010 on Star Plus and aired every Mon-Fri 7:30 pm. The story is set in the alleys of Old Delhi. The aesthetic portrayal of Old Delhi is the unique selling proposition of the show. It is a remake of a popular Bengali show Ogo Bodhu Shundori which airs on STAR Jalsha. The show currently re-airs on TV Asia. The title of the drama is inspired by the song "Genda Phool" from the film Delhi 6, which is also the show's theme song. The show did extremely well and managed to get up to 550+ episodes with an avg. of 2.0-4.0 trps. It faced stiff competition from shows like Choti Bahu and Sasural Simar Ka which aired at the same time. The last episode was aired on 21 April 2012 with a maha episode of 1 hour and was replaced by a new series Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum from 23 April 2012 onwards.

Sacch Ka Saamna

Sacch Ka Saamna is the Indian version of the popular American reality show The Moment of Truth, which itself is adapted from the Colombian reality game show Nada más que la verdad. The 1st season premiered on STAR Plus on July 15, 2009 and aired at 11PM IST from Monday through Friday. The 2nd season of the series premiered on December 18, 2011 on STAR TV's new channel Life OK. Both seasons were hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal.

Shaurya Aur Suhani

Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke was a Hindi television series which aired on STAR Plus. It began on 27 May 2009 and ended on 29 January 2010. The story revolved around the orthodox practices that are prevalent even today in the Uttar Pradesh. This show airs on an Afghan television channel called Ariana TV, where the drama is translated into Dari Persian since April 17, 2011 to January 15, 2012.
