Sofie Linde and her family have fallen in love with an old haunted house on Langeland and are moving the whole family to the island, where the summer will be spent on renovation. With the help of her faithful craftsmen, the twins Anders and Philip, Sofie Linde wants to transform the dilapidated house into a dream of a holiday home.

The show follows 10 contestants who compete to be the best cleaner in Denmark. Each week, the contestants are given a different cleaning challenge, such as cleaning a festival toilet, removing limescale from a bathroom, or cleaning up after a dog. The contestants are judged on their speed, thoroughness, and creativity. The winner of each challenge receives a point, and the contestant with the most points at the end of the season wins the grand prize of "Den Gyldne Rengøringsspand" (The Golden Cleaning Bucket).
