Directed by Paul Schrader during his stay in Tokyo, this piece for Bob Dylan's song was shot with the same crew behind Schrader’s "Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters". The lead role is played by Dylan and Mitsuko Baisho, best known for her collaborations with filmmaker Shohei Imamura. Dylan performs in a Tokyo bar while wearing a baseball cap — the venue is the famed jazz club Pit Inn, a historic landmark in the city’s live music scene.
