Nanfeng ware: light gray stoneware with decoration reserved against the medium brown glaze, the rim and reserved designs with clear glaze over white slip. From the Baishe kilns in Nanfeng county, Jiangxi province

Jian ware: dark gray stoneware with dark brown glaze enlivened with markings in overglaze iron-brown slip. From the kilns at Shuiji, Jianyang county, Fujian province.

Porcelain with interior decoration painted in underglaze cobalt blue and with gold enamel painted on a red enamel ground added to the exterior at a later date; with spurious underglaze cobalt-blue mark reading "Da Ming Yongle nian zhi" within a single circle on the base.
