Obv.: Cippus inscribed [I]MP | CAES | AVGV | COMM | CONS; to l. and r., S - C; around, L MESC[INIVS RVF]VS IIIVIR. Rev.: Oak wreath tied at top, within which inscription I O M | SPQR V S | PR S IMP CAE | QVOD PER EV | R P IN AMP | AT Q TRAN | S E (AN in penultimate line ligate): "To Jupiter Optimus Maximus the Senate and the Roman people have undertaken vows on behalf of the health of the emperor Caesar (sc. Augustus) because through him the republic is in a greater and more tranquil state."
