Robinson, Newton, Massachusetts, 2002, gift; to Harvard Art Museums, 2024 [1] Ludolphine Schimmelpenninck van der Oye sold the family collection of drawings by Voogd c. 1959. I.Q. van Regteren Altena, head of the Rijksprentenkabinett, divided the drawings into lots that were sold to (mostly) Dutch museums and private collectors. This drawing was in the lot purchased by Christian P. van Eeghen, a well-known private collector and scholar in The Hague. He bequeathed them to his grandchildren.
