Terracotta statuette of an ape or monkey in a seated position with legs extended in front and arms bent at the elbows running alongside them. Head is slightly cocked to the left with downcast eyes.

This statuette was in Dr. Mildenberg's possession for years before it appeared in Volume 1 of the scholarly catalogues of the Mildenberg collection in 1981.
