Nicolaas Marcus, sold [through his sale, van der Schley...Yver, March 15, 1779, a.f.d, kb M, lot 6].Probably Raymond de Bailleul, by descent; to Marquis Jean de Baillieul, his son, by descent; to Marquis de Bailleul, France, his grandson, by 1946. Several drawings were sold in sales in 1941 and 1946. Van Regterena Altena mentions the drawing as still being with the Marquis de Bailleul in 1946.
