12th-13th century
Large biconical bowl with slightly foliated and everted rim and high, flaring foot. A monochrome turquoise glaze covers the fritware body on the interior and exterior, pooling into drips along the bottom of the foot ring. The relief decoration consists of two bands: a narrow band of fluting above, and a wide band of plaiting below, separated by half-circle molding. Much of the glazed surface bears iridescence.
