(Fr 2,600)]; purchased at that sale by (?) Vauchin; [Galerie Férault, Paris, by 1930]; acquired from them through Martin Birnbaum by Grenville L. Winthrop, April 1936 (Fr 15,000); his bequest to the Fogg Art Museum, 1943. *Naef** (vol. 4 [1977], pg. 52) identifies three possibilities for this lot: no. 129, sold for 55 francs; no. 134, shold for 160 francs (together with another sheet); and no. 135, sold for 200 francs.
