Estate of Hans Baldung. Nicolaus[?] Kremer. Kremer, a student of Baldung's active in Strasbourg, purchased the contents of Baldung's studio from the artist's widow. Sebald Büheler, Strasbourg. Büheler inherited Baldung's estate through his brother-in-law, Nicolaus Kremer, although we can't be sure that this drawing came from the estate via Kremer (see Detroit, 1983, p. 51).
