1970s
This is one of a series of special boxes - like the "Name Boxes", but even less common - that Maciunas made for friends. Each Biography Box contains an assortment of real and faux objects and artifacts relating to the year of the person's birth, such as publications from the year or day of the person's birth, things relating to important events or inventions of the year, etc. This box also contains four vintage photographs, presumably obtained by Maciunas from Barbara Moore. The photograph on the lid of the box is of Peter Moore as a child.
box: 31.8 x 31.8 x 4.3 cm (12 1/2 x 12 1/2 x 1 11/16 in.)
