A matronly woman is seated on a curved seat with small child held on her lap. She is wearing a heavy himation that is draped over her shoulders and gathered across her legs. A child is lying on its back and sprawled across the mother's or nurses's lap. Hard reddish-brown clay with gray surface; traces of white slip.
