Lekythos (oil flask): Woman Carrying Box

Description

On shoulder, radiating lines. On edge, simple meander pattern. Woman advancing to right clad in a chiton ornamented with dots, a fillet in her hair (outline reserved), carrying a large box. On a chair behind her a bundle of clothes. Dots on her chiton and on the box in faint brown lines. Mouth, handle, foot, and body painted, neck and shoulder reserved. Good drawing. Surface chipped.
