Enameled blue-and-white ware: porcelain with decoration painted in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze green enamel, the wave pattern incised; with underglaze cobalt-blue mark reading "Da Ming Jiajing nian zhi" inside the hollow stem

Yaozhou ware: light gray stoneware with misfired olive-brown celadon glaze and kiln adhesions. From the Yaozhou kilns at Tongchuan, Shaanxi province.
