1st-5th century CE
Fragment of a mosaic consisting of gold glass tesserae. The use of gold glass suggests that this mosaic was located on a wall (as opposed to a floor pavement).
Miss E. Bayliss, gift; to the Department of the Classics Harvard University, 1913, transfer; to the Fogg Art Museum, 1977.
