12th-13th century
Roundel decorated in weathered relief. Two birds stand back to back, with heads turned to face each other and beaks touching, forming an undecorated space in the shape of an inverted tear drop between them. Although heavily worn, stylized feathers on the birds' wings and tails are visible. The birds are surrounded by a plain, thick, circular fillet.

Unknown, formerly of the Kevorkian Collection. Before that, of the Brummer Collection.
