Flat slightly angled rim of deep carinated bowl. Dark brown-black on white slip. Thick band of diagonal crosshatch from band at lip to band at shoulder. The digaonal bands of crosshatch alternated direction around the vessel. Band around vessel below shoulder. Thick-walled and coarse with many white enclusions. Inside white slipped. Incompletely fired (grey core). Faded, pitted, weathered, large interior chip. Native Geometric Style, Matt Painted Ware (MCyc. I-II)
