Original blue cloth with bevelled edges, elaborately stamped in gilt and blind; circular albumen print of Conway Castle (by Roger Fenton, duplicate of print on p. 107) mounted on front cover; circular albumen print (not duplicated in the text) mounted on back cover; edges gilt.
