This is a printer's proof from the shop of Auguste Clot. Printed in black lithographic ink on white chine applique, mounted down on white wove paper. The reverse of this paper is printed with blue lithographic ink with an impression of the blue stone for the lithograph by Alfred Sisley's "Bords de Rivière," or "Les Oies" (Del. 6).
