Front of book cover (burse) embroidered in "or nué" with arabesques incorporating hunting dogs, snakes and foliage. Braided tassles at four corners of front and two on back and toggle. Stiffened board backing covered in linen plain weave on which embroidery is done; green silk plain weave interior. Pieced together from parts of a larger textile.
