The drawing depicts a courtesan seated in a European-style chair. She rests her elbows on the armrests with her hands pointing downward to her lap. Her heavy-lidded eyes gazes to the left. She wears a long, yellow, headscarf; large, decorative earrings; a head ornament; necklaces; armbands; bangles; and anklets.
